This thing is impressive right out of the box! I bought it especially for the purpose of traveling with a white noise machine. I was surprised at the volume and the quality of the sound. Additionally, there is the option to hear the sound of the fan or ocean. There is a lot of power packed into this little speaker! As a matter of curiosity, I paired the device with my phone and turned some music on. In the highest notes you hear a bit of squeaking. However, I'm not overly concerned since that wasn't my primary reason for purchasing this item.
