We're pretty sure we've tried every probiotic available anywhere. This is the one that has helped where three different GIs and a slew of other supplements have failed. For us, this is a keeper.
MY MONTHLY LIST CONTAINS IT. I DON'T KNOW HOW I WOULD GET BY WITHOUT IT. IT ACTUALLY DOES WORK. NOW I AM FEELING LIKE MYSELF AGAIN.
I do trust Solgar, but since I've only been using it for two weeks, I'm not sure if I'll see any results.
Love it.
I've had no success with other probiotics. This product was recommended to me by the owner of a health food store, and I have had no stomach pain in only a few days. Heather's fiber was added at the same time, and when combined with Probi, it saved my life. I used to be in pain all day, starting right after I ate breakfast and continuing throughout the day. This probiotic has been a lifesaver.
I remember reading an article in Smithsonian a few years ago about scientists who were looking into a possible link between the obesity epidemic and overeating. Antibiotics are used. Antibiotic use (especially at a young age) appears to kill off some of the intestinal flora and fauna that are necessary for proper digestion and food processing. Once killed, some of these "gastrointestinal microbiota" don't come back. And there are millions upon millions of different varieties to choose from - Many have yet to be identified. br>br>I've gained weight and am frequently bloated and uncomfortable since menopause. Despite the fact that the article implied that probiotic supplements (or cultured yogurt) could not be used to repopulate your gut, I decided to give them a try. I'm not sure if they're working after three weeks, but my abdomen feels less distended by the end of the day, and my stools are much softer. My digestive system runs smoothly as a vegetarian, so my regularity hasn't changed much. And, in terms of my weight, the holidays aren't the best time to see if these can help. I'd like to bring up one more unusual side effect - My urine smells a little "grassy" a few hours after taking these. "I know asparagus is supposed to have probiotics, so I'm wondering if this contains some asparagus derivative. br>br>I'm noticing slight improvements in my digestion and regularity. There is, however, a minor distinction. Whether or not I'll make this supplement a regular part of my daily routine is still up in the air.
Lactobacillus plantarum (LP299V) is one of the most common Lactobacillus species. In research studies, it is also one of the most effective. This high-quality product The use of a strong brand did result in a bloat-reducing effect. I enjoy the pounding. However, I'm not convinced it was superior to other brands, and at the higher price, I'm not sure I can justify the purchase. For only 30 capsules, I wholeheartedly recommend it. br>br>One issue could be that I received a bottle that was about to expire. I'm not sure if these probiotics have a shorter shelf life than I'm used to, but I received mine in November 2016 with a best by date of February 2017 on the bottle. It's only been a little over a year. Of course, I was able to complete the 30-minute task without difficulty. With plenty of time on your hands, you can stock up on capsules. However, if you buy several months' worth at once, this may be an issue. It's also possible that my sample came from an old batch with a much longer shelf life than usual. If that's the case, it's possible that's why I didn't get miraculous results. OVERALL: br>br> It's easy to take, there's no bad taste, and the results are moderately effective. I have nothing bad to say about it, except that I'm not sure my results were miraculous enough to justify such a high price.
