Questions & Answers

This appears to be a one-time use item. What if you use it for more than three days?

I hate to say it, but I'm a professional at grinding teeth. I've had two dentists make me over $1,000 and I blew holes in both of them. My check bone should be round, but I've worn mine flat, causing it to pop in and out at times. I've tried everything, and I mean everything, and the only ones that work are the disposable ones that you can wear on upper or lower because your teeth shift. Heck, I've even woken up and I'm 2 a night at times I buy the reversible 16 pack I see some on here that are similar but I get mine from CVS they are usually BOGO they are cvs brand 16 count each wrapped separately but hoping to find them on here. because they are reversible, so if you have a bad tooth or something on top, that's why I went with "disposable dental guards" hope this helps, I hate to see people waste money but everyone is different anyway hope this helps

Is the plastic you're using BPA-free?

Hello Katherine, and thank you for your inquiry. Yes, this item is free of BPA.

Is it possible to wear it to work during the day?

I keep mine on all day because I have an anxious habit of chewing the insides of my mouth. It is extremely beneficial!

Are there 40 mouthguards in total? It says 10 pack (four pack), but then it says $19. You pay $2 for each mouthguard if you're 99 years old. ?

For the total of 19, you only get ten mouthguards. 99 - 1 box. That stipulation about a "pack of 4" is very perplexing! The mouthguard is only supposed to be worn for three days, but I get about a week depending on how much my life causes me to GRIND MY TEETH! My dentist was going to charge me over $550 for one, but I can't figure out how I'm going to keep it clean enough after a while, so these will suffice for now, and it will be a long time before I accumulate $550 worth of these. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query.

Get Rid of Your Jaw Pain! I've tried a lot of night guards in the past, three of which were custom-made by a dentist
5/5

br>But they're nothing compared to these. br>In the past, my night guards were too big and bulky to sleep in, and they were nearly impossible to breathe in when I had a sinus infection. Using these is much more comfortable because they don't take up much space in your mouth and allow you to breathe even if your nose is blocked. br>Believe me when I tell you that these are fantastic. The material is similar to rubber, and the ones I got from the dentist were either too bulky or too hard, which may have been worse for my teeth than using nothing at all! Except for the first week, I don't have any mouth soreness when I wake up to these. If you grind your teeth at night, this is a must-have! br>br>*Please let Amazon know if my review was helpful by clicking the helpful button below!.

It's a small room, but it's quite cozy
5/5

Hello there, Fellow Grinders and Clinchers of Teeth. I'll use a Pros and Cons format to keep things simple in this review. PROS: br>br> 1) In the box I purchased for less than thirteen dollars, there are ten mouth guards. 2) Multi-tasking br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b For use at night It says up to three times on the box. On average, I receive a 7-star rating. For the price of one night, you get ten nights. br> I wash in the morning with soap. and squirt with hydrogen peroxide before storing in the small container that came with it br> I could probably use these for a few more nights, but they do become softer and more pliable with use, and when they do, I wake up without it in my mouth. It's incredible that some users claim to have used 1 for a year! br>br>3) Smaller than other guards I've worn, which makes it more comfortable. br>br>4) Option to have lower or upper teeth. I can only use the upper half of my body; the lower half makes me feel uneasy because it seems to float around. br>br>5) It's BPA-FREE. CONS: br>br> br>1) The packaging is insane. clumsy plastic case that is far too large to hold ten small guards 2) The actual small 'guard holder,' with its flimsy aluminum peel back tab, is difficult to open, especially late at night. Annoying. br>br>I'm still giving it five stars because it's fantastic! br>br>UPDATE: br>br> January 4, 2019br>br>I'm still as happy as someone who needs a night guard can be almost a year later. This brand won't be a winner for everyone, but for me, it's the best; I tried another brand that had ribbing that bothered my tongue, so I went back to these. br>This brand won't be a winner for everyone, but for me, it's the best. br> I read a few reviews that said this guard didn't stay in place, but I found that if I just put it in my mouth, close my mouth, relax, and go to sleep, it works just fine. I don't try to wear them while eating, talking, shopping, or doing anything else; )br>After almost a year of use, it's still 5 stars!.

This is the ideal solution! I was hesitant to pay $200 for a mouthguard at my dentist's office because I am a very sensitive person
5/5

I told them I'd most likely wake up in the middle of the night and sling it across the room! So there was no way I could do it. I discovered this small appliance after doing some research. You'll have some doubts when you first put it in your mouth, but with a little pressure between your teeth, it'll stay in place. Just make sure the little strip in the front is pushed up near your gums. They claim that each one can be used three times, but that is only true for those who do not want to clean them. Cleaning is required because most other similar mouth guards do not advertise themselves as disposable. If you're willing to clean them, you can keep them for a long time. They're also packaged in a convenient travel container.

Teeth, jaw, and a good night's sleep! I'm not one to leave reviews very often
5/5

But this product worked so well for me that I felt compelled to write a review to praise it! I've had TMJ for a long time. If I had been more aware of my own health as a child, I would have known in my early 20s, if not earlier. Do you have TMJ in your family? All three sisters, as well as their father. Isn't it lovely? I've used a custom mouth guard before and found it to be quite effective. My dentist took a mold of my teeth and made a plastic guard for me. They must not have done it correctly because my teeth began to shift and a gap appeared between my front teeth. So that was a no-go. I searched the internet for TMJ cures and came up empty-handed. I clench and grind at the same time. My teeth now have visible wear, hairline cracks, tense and sore jaw muscles, especially the nerve behind the right jaw, and jaw and teeth pain when grinding/clenching if it was especially bad the night before. br>br>I began receiving chiropractic treatment, which proved to be extremely beneficial. Until my chiropractor moved out of town, and I never found another who could treat my TMJ as well as she did. I recently made an appointment with a naturopath who specializes in manual manipulation (similar to chiropractic). He performed some jaw manipulations as well as showing me some jaw exercises that I could do at home. He also recommended an Amazon mouthguard. It's the kind you soak in hot water and then mold around your teeth. I'm not a fan of wearing a full mouth guard because it prevents your teeth from being soaked in saliva while you sleep. But, after seeing this product listed among the "recommended" products, I decided to give it a try. Why not for the low price of $12? br>br>I used it on my upper teeth for the first time the first night. My jaw was already less sore when I awoke the next morning. When I did my jaw exercises, the pain went away for the most part. However, I discovered that after placing it on my upper teeth, it made my bite feel strange for the next hour or so. br>br>I tried it on my lower teeth for the next few nights. A LOT BETTER! When I awoke, I had no jaw pain. Not even on the nerve that has always existed behind my right jaw. There was also no weird bite displacement. The only drawback is that part of the guard that rests against the lower gums is more sensitive, which makes it a little uncomfortable until I fall asleep. This product is AMAZING!! br>br>I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! It has saved my life. When compared to other dental appliances that can cost upwards of $300, it's a bargain at $12.
