Questions & Answers

Is there a date when it will expire?

05/2020

I'd like to purchase four of these, but I'm not sure when they'll expire (Infants Tylenol Pain Reliever- 2 fl oz (60 ml) Fever Reducer, Oral Suspension, Cherry Flavor)?

Why use both methyl cellulose and xanthan gum at the same time? food color that is artificial? Is there an artificial sweetener? It has so much flavor that you can smell it from the other side of the room. What is the purpose of that for a baby? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? SERIOUSLY CONSIDER IT! They don't appear to be connoisseurs; they simply require pain relief without the additives, which have no effect on efficacy! Why not make a liquid acetaminophen and sprinkle a few drops into their food or milk? And yet, despite the fact that we all refuse to question what we eat, we continue to be plagued by problems.

Please tell me when it expires. ?

In most cases, the expiration date is stamped on the bottom of the box. If you're wondering if the medicine will be expired when you receive it, I have yet to receive an expired box.

Is there a 5ml syringe included?

Yes, it is.

Great price, but it ships via USPS and sits in the heat for a long time
3/5

I'm sure Amazon's prices aren't the cheapest I've seen. When eating Tylenol for your kids, especially with such a shortage during Covid, it's been nice to get it cheaper when it's been in stock. When I went to the store, a small container of Tylenol costs over $12. What I don't like about it is that it's not being delivered to your door; instead, it's being left in your mailbox, and because it's a medication, the liquid isn't supposed to be hot for more than a certain number of degrees, according to the box. We live in Arizona, where the temperature is 120 degrees, and I'm not sure if it's safe to give that to our baby after it's been outside in the heat. We usually buy two or more at a time, so a double pack with UPS delivery to your door would be ideal. There are a plethora of other items on Amazon that ship for around the same price and don't require you to sit in the heat all day. I'll ask my pharmacist if it's safe for the baby to eat this after it's been sitting in the heat, but the box expressly states that it is not.

Fever and pain relief are both improved with this dispenser
5/5

Throughout my son's first year of life, I used a variety of droppers/dispensers for various medicines and drops, and the design of this is SO much more convenient. Simply insert the syringe into the bottle's top hole, turn it upside down, and pull the syringe to the precise measurement you require. After his first shots, my son developed a mild fever and irritability, which was greatly relieved by this. He was in noticeably less pain and able to fall asleep within 15 minutes. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no doseage for younger babies, which I found to be confusing. My pediatrician gave me a printout with dosages for babies under the age of one. 11 lbs 1. 25 ml 12- 17 lbs 2. 25 ml.

It works much better than Motrin at lowering fevers
5/5

This is the one that I use. when I was a baby, I had to go to the doctor a toddler or a daughter- My son is ill! My son (toddler) prefers this to Motrin, so I give him this first when he has a fever - it comes with a syringe to feed directly into the back of the mouth to avoid spitups. His fever is usually controlled by giving him a dose every 5 hours or so. It's also available in grape flavor, but he doesn't care for it as much. I alternated between giving him Tylenol and Motrin every three hours when he was really sick, like when he had strep throat or hand/foot/mouth, as our doctor recommended. He isn't a big fan of Motrin and has been known to vomit after taking it. This is also great for very young infants (like my daughter), because it's the only over-the-counter fever medicine you can give them. Because our daughter is so young, the doctor advised us not to give her Motrin. She enjoys the flavor and swallowed it without difficulty.

It's been around since March, but it's about to expire! As a precaution, I brought some Tylenol with me when I had my baby in March
3/5

It arrived and was immediately placed in the medicine cabinet. When the child became ill last week, he or she opened it only to discover that it had expired in July! br>Who sells baby medicine that is about to expire? I assumed it was a stocking error on the part of the seller, and I contacted them, but received no response. br>Beware of unscrupulous salespeople!.

Do you have a child who is teething? Use this! We have a 9-month-old who is teething, and I can't imagine not having Tylenol on hand
5/5

It was difficult for us to use it with my older son. We now all sleep in our own beds at night. Despite the fact that four teeth were coming out at the same time, it was a great experience.

Do not make a purchase
3/5

Corporate greed at its most basic level. The concentration of infant Tylenol used to be 3x that of children's, and the price increase reflected this. The dose has now been balanced - however J In the last nine years, J hasn't changed his price. So, for nearly a decade, we've all been overpaying. This entire history is sick and gross, especially considering that children have died as a result of these concentration mixups. Tylenol should not be purchased for children under the age of two.

Good Liquid Pain Reliever for Infants and Babies
5/5

For infants, this is an excellent liquid pain reliever. In comparison to supermarkets, drugstores, and supercenters, it's also a good deal. br>br>Which is why I bought it on Amazon rather than somewhere else. When the pain becomes too much for my nearly 14-month-old teething daughter, I use it. At the age of two months, she began teething. Yes, it has been two months. She was on the verge of losing all of her teeth at this point. There are only a few left. And we'll be able to move on from her physical discomfort. br>br>Previously, I was using Hyland's teething products until they all went down with the rest of the matter. I'm just grateful to the Almighty God of Heaven and Earth that none of that company's dangerous side effects affected my daughter. So when her teething toys and ice pops don't work, I'll give her Tylenol and Advil.

Infants are preferable to children
5/5

As a result, I realized that the "infant" and "children's" liquid Tylenol formulations we'd found were both the same strength, and I was on the verge of purchasing the less expensive children's version. However, I soon discovered that the infant formula contains an additional important ingredient: high-fructose corn syrup is a type of corn syrup that contains a lot of sugar You can pass judgment if you want, but this stuff is delicious (trust me, I tried it). My baby happily consumes this substance without dilution, straight into her mouth, with no complaints. When faced with a super-powered opponent, It's great that she likes her medicine, especially since she's a fussy, teething baby; and, of course, double-check the formulation before you buy to ensure it hasn't changed!.
