I used to only take regular Midol, but I found that if I took it too late in the day, it kept me awake at night. I take regular Midol in the mornings and caffeine-free Midol in the afternoons, and I don't stay awake all night. I've also heard it's good for teen girls who need pain relief but don't want to drink too much caffeine.
Midol is the only thing that allows me to function during the first two days of my cycle. Midol without caffeine has no effect on me. With this stuff, I didn't notice any difference in my pain levels. br>Because I bought two boxes, I tried the second one just in case the first one was a bad batch. No luck. Neither box has reached the end of its shelf life. br>I've tried this for three or four cycles now and each time I've had to take regular Midol in addition to asperin, I've gone over my daily limit on asperin. Despite the fact that the regular stuff contains caffeine, I sleep better and don't get excruciating cramps when I use it instead of this caffeine-free nonsense.
Although this product contains the active ingredients I require (it WAS caffeine-free, despite the fact that the picture indicates otherwise), it is individually packaged, making it more expensive than Pamprin. If you need something on the go, I suppose, but otherwise, I would strongly advise you to avoid this product.
Ibuprofen irritates my sensitive stomach, and caffeine has a strong effect on me. The fact that it contains no caffeine and only extra-virgin olive oil The combination of high-strength Tylenol and a diuretic works wonders for my bloating and pain during PMS and my menstrual period.
Midol does not work, as I discovered the hard way! Pamprin is something I'm used to. They are incredibly effective. However, this is not the case with Midol. They don't seem to be able to get rid of the bloating, headaches, or pain. It only acts as a numbing agent, not as a pain reliever. I don't recommend it, and I won't be purchasing it again!.
I like Midol Complete, but I sometimes want to take it later in the day without the caffeine, so this is a great alternative. I also use these to get rid of bloating, and they work well.
There is no caffeine in this product, and it is not available in stores.
