Questions & Answers
It has a metal ring and I find it to be quite useful.
When you first open the package, it smells like fresh rubber, but after you leave it out for a while, the smell fades; there is no odor on the inside.
The width is 7 1/2", and the height is about 10" up to the point where the fill section begins. Another 3" tall and 3" wide section is on top.
As long as you keep it next to your body, it stays warm for a long time in my opinion. If you just leave it lying around, it will cool down faster. This hot water bottle is one of my favorites.

As the primary caregiver for my 95-year-old mother, I consider myself a hot water bottle expert. Even in July, my elderly mother is cold, much less in the winter in Connecticut. Every day, I fill a bottle at least a few times. Throughout the years, we've purchased a variety of HW bottles from various drugstore chains. This is our first Home Top, and after a week of multiple daily fills, I have to say that the HW bottle is by far my favorite. br>br>First and foremost, I like the uniform fill spout. The funnel does not get in the way because there is no "filler flap" with a hole for hanging the bottle. The funnel is now firmly and evenly positioned on the bottle. This allows me to keep one hand on the bottle's neck while the other pours water from the pot. Because the funnel couldn't seat itself securely, I had to hold the bottle by the neck with tongs previously. br>br>2nd, unlike the others, the inside of the filler neck is made of metal rather than plastic, andbr>br>3rd, the screw-on cap is made of metal rather than plastic. To ensure a good seal, the bottom of the plug has a gasket. br>br>The material is extremely thick, and it costs only 1. I bought two of these clearly superior products instead of five HW bottles at the drugstore. br>br>Re: the odor- We didn't have any problems with it, and we were able to use the bottle within an hour of receiving it. YMMV. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> In March of this year, I bought the bottle shown above. The month of March has come to an end. After a period of ten months (3-months) of heavy use, The water bottle began to leak after 6 days of use (sometimes with NOT recommended very hot water). Because of the "abuse" we've given it, I think this is acceptable. If necessary, I will purchase again.
It's possible that I received an item that had been previously used. The metal opening area has rusted, and the body surface is covered in scratch marks! Be aware that the diagonal line pattern appears only on the front side of the cap, and that it is not smooth and contains many burrs.
The package arrived exactly when it was supposed to. The quality appears to be good. However, I was dissatisfied after reading the product information. What if you don't want to drink from the tap? Isn't it true that you shouldn't use hot water? This is a water bottle filled with hot water. It's not a good idea to make a lie out of it. Don't put anything on top of it when you're storing it. I'm not sure what kind of water I should use.
Because the opening into the bag is wider and made of metal, this hot water bottle is a better choice. I had one for a few years until it developed a leak with a narrower opening, and I had to be very careful to fill it slowly or it would literally spit back at me, splashing boiling hot water in my face. I can fill this one from the faucet or the kettle without any issues. I had no idea that the problem was my previous one's faulty design. I'm glad I bought this brand because it arrived quickly and without any issues. br>br>As a result, not every hot water bottle is created equal. I did have a heavy felt cover from a previous bottle that I covered this one with. This is the one you're looking for. br>br> I've had three water bottles in my life, but I didn't try them until much later, and they're fantastic! It takes me about 15 minutes to fill mine. 30 minutes before bedtime, I make a cup of boiling water or hot water from the tap. I don't like the warmth of an electric blanket, and I had a problem with one that sparked a few years ago. Even though I know they're much better now, I still don't trust them, especially for something that will cover me while I'm sleeping. I put the bottle where I'm going to put my feet - Get into bed and move the bottle around to relieve the chill in other areas after you've walked away for a while. It's also very relaxing to be in the moist heat. I usually shift the bag to just behind my low back before falling asleep. The toes and leg area are nicely warmed up as a result of that type.
The old-fashioned solution is the best option. Even in the winter, I prefer a cold bedroom, but if my feet are too cold (which they are in the winter), it can take a while to relax. I finally realized that someone had already designed a solution for this a long time ago, so I went to Amazon to look for it. When I first saw it, I thought it was a relic from another time. I knew it was the right thing when I saw an old-fashioned water bottle. I've tried electric warmers before and found that they are usually TOO warm, that you have to wait forever for them to warm up, that you have to remember to turn them off, and that you have to be near an outlet! br>br>So, yes, it has a rubbery feel and smell to it. it's because it is I'm not bothered by the rubber smell, and I'm aware that it usually fades with time; in any case, my feet can't detect it: ) And hot-to-the-touch tap water will suffice. Before I get it, I fill it about two-thirds full, screw on the top, and slide it into the bottom of the bed for a few minutes. Once inside, I can put my chilly feet on it and be warm all the way through in a very short time (that's the funny thing about cold feet - they don't stay cold for very long). They send shivers through the rest of the world! ), and can unwind in preparation for a good night's rest. br>br>The next day, water your plants or do whatever you want.
I've got a bad case of rubber odor. I just got this today; it's very thin and doesn't hold a lot of water, and it smells like tires throughout my house. I had to keep this outside because the rubber smelled so bad and gave me a headache. This makes me angry.
This was a Valentine's Day present for my husband, who has cold feet all the time. I gave it to him early because he had caught a cold. This bottle resembles the one used by my family over 40 years ago in appearance and feel. The metal part in the bottle's neck, as well as the rubber gasket on the stopper, are two of my favorite features. If you look around, you'll notice that most bottles aren't built nearly as well as they could be. This is a very safe hot water bottle when used with common sense. You also won't have to be concerned about it leaking onto your bed or furniture. It's worth noting that this is made of natural rubber, so it has a rubbery odor. The odor dissipates quickly, so it's only a minor annoyance. This is a fantastic item that I would purchase again. I did, in fact, purchase a second one for my sister. Thank you so much for producing such a fantastic product!!.
