Questions & Answers

What happens if I apply the medication to the lower lid, but it does not get to the eyeball?

Make sure that the drop of eyeliner gets in contact with the edge of your lid, just as if you were applying eyeliner. When a drop is dropped into the eye, it will absorb like a magnet attracting iron to its surface. Capillary action is a scientific term used to describe this phenomenon. It is likely you have received enough medicine as long as you feel wet on your eye. The Magic Touch was invented by Julius Shulman, MD

Restasis is what I use, and the instructions say I shouldn't touch the bottom of the bottle even remotely. How can I clean this gadget with alcohol wipes?

If you have a Magic Touch device, you can clearly wipe it with alcohol wipes. There is nothing particularly special about Restasis or other drops (aside from the fact that Restasis contains minimum to no preservatives), so it is a good idea not to touch the dropper tip of any bottle or container to the As a result, any chance of contamination will be minimized, and this is applicable to the one-time use or the multiple-use of Restasis Here's how you can use the The container of restasis is never even in contact with your eyelids, so since Magic Touch is impregnated with silver ions that kill 99% of microbes, you are making sure that contamination will not occur. Please note that. M. D. Julius Schulman

Do you think this would work for ointment for the eyes?

Eye drops are the only thing it's for. When applying an ointment, there is little risk for it to run down your cheek or miss you eye

The 20% DMSO I use in my eyes for cataracts and macular degeneration has helped to reduce my symptoms. The material of this drop applicator is not susceptible to damage due to direct high-speed optical action?

Although I kept the dropper, I was unable to use it. Although I was able to make drops fall from the dropper, it was difficult to get them to fall I can't even imagine what it must feel like to

A work of absolute magic! After using my Magic Touch for a few days now, I can say that it has completely changed my life! I am hopeless at getting eye drops into my eyes, and blink at least ten for every one that manages to penetrate my eye
5/5

In my experience as someone who wears contact lenses and suffers from allergies, eye drops are essential to me, and I have tried pretty much every gadget out there in search of one that works. I have trusted them all but they have failed me so far. Magic Touch is extremely easy to use, which means I can now get my drops in on the first try every time. This device is essentially shaped like a soft thimble and fits on your finger. As a result, using it is very natural and easy. On top of that, there is a little well on the tip that you touch to your eyelid, and the eyedrop moves onto it. You don't have to blink or fuss! It is a fantastic design and should have won some sort of design award or invention of the year award. It's my plan to buy them for friends for Christmas.

A eureka moment! It was incredibly easy to use and it worked out of the box
5/5

Because of my shoulder and neck issues, it is hard for me to lift my arm or tilt my head, and how can you aim those eye drops without touching them? As I write this, I am in the middle of cataract surgery As a result, there will be more drops and, again, After this ordeal is over, I will continue to use this product for dry eye drops on a daily basis. Also, I have some problems with my hands because I am in my late 60's. The product sounds interesting, and I wish I had known about it The instructions for applying should be read carefully This isn't going to be a tilted back scenario. At first, you might find it helpful to look in a mirror.

Getting this eye drop is essential if you use eye drops
4/5

It really is a very helpful little invention to get eye drops into our eyes as quickly as possible. For that, I give it four stars, but I took off one star because it's not quite as easy as the promo shows. Sometimes I also found that only a small amount of product got in my eye and was there for quite some time since one drop would usually be enough. It is possible this could be an operator error, but I will confess I am not entirely sure. When you tilt your head back and let the tears fall into your eyes, it is somewhat difficult to tilt your head down and let the tears fill your It doesn't seem that way to me at least. Nevertheless, the above annoyance is not big enough to prevent me from telling everyone reading this review to drop what they're doing (pun intended) and buy this applicator! This little baby reduces waste and costs, and it makes application of eye drops more hygienic since it prevents contamination of bottles by touching the tip of the bottle to your eye or finger or any other unsanitary surface during application. It would be easy for me to drop one drop into that eye and close it. Then I do the second eye. I finish with the second drop, close the eye drops bottle, and put it away. If you use eye drops at all, do yourself a favor by getting this. I recommended it to everyone I know. I find this little device to be quite amazing.

The information I needed was just what I needed
5/5

The eye drops you use when you have Sjogren's affect you a lot. If you wear bifocal glasses, trying to use eye drops can be difficult. I was unable to find a solution until I found this. I LOVE THIS! Simply use a magnifying mirror that stands up by itself, and then wash your hands well, tug directly down on your lower lid, and use an eyedropper (you should already have two or three drops in the little well), and place drops over your lower eyelid to moisten your eye. If you are using a blue eyedropper (which fits over one finger), then you need to wash it and repeat the whole process with the You can wash it after using it, then store it in its holder so it is ready for the next time it is needed. In order to wash the blue eyedropper finger cover, be sure to use a soap that rinses completely, and to dry it with a lintless cloth. Go ahead and store it in the case it comes in when you're done with it. Keeping your eyes clean is important, because an eye infection resulting from improper hygiene is unpleasant. It is also suggested that if more than one person in your household needs eye droppings every day, you should purchase more than one so they each have their own supply.

It is a revolutionary In my practice as an ophthalmologist, I always try to boost patient compliance with drops by experimenting with different approaches
5/5

As a result, this device makes insertion much easier than relying on gravity to "bomb" the eye. It was possible for me to insert a drop without a mirror without any waste on my first attempt. Invented with a simple but highly innovative design, instilling eye medications has never been easier.

I'm glad my mom is getting the drops in successfully, and we're all pleased
5/5

The thought that I would need to scared me. In addition to the eye drop guide device, I purchased this for my mother during the time period of her cataract surgery. For the next few weeks, she will spend most of her day administering drops. In spite of the fact that the whole balance this item on the face thing required by other products looked "okay", I suspected that this is what she really Her hesitations at first made her a bit intimidated, but she's able to get the drops in successfully now, and we're all happy about that. As you anticipated, I worried that I would have to visit the clinic regularly in order to get my drops. Well, that's all. If you are engaged in surgery, have it available as a backup.

Despite my best efforts, I did not get drops to jump There was no way to confirm whether it worked as marketed
3/5

It's easy for me to use my hands and I have good As for instilling eye drops, I have no trouble doing so for myself or my husband, following the procedure of tilting the head slightly forward and gently pulling on the lower lid to make a "pocket" for the eye drop. In any case, my husband has trouble instilling drops on his own, so we wanted to try this item. My first attempt was to follow the directions on the box, and I used 2 different brands of over-the-counter contraception Here's the thing The best eye drops are those sold over the counter. "The drops did not jump from the lower lid pocket to the upper lid pocket. ". As you move the applicator, you must touch the eyelid to ensure that the drop stays close enough to the eyelid. It was stubborn and won't move, so you are still trying to move it. There were a lot of things I did not like about this item, so I am returning it.
