It helps me prevent bed sores and diaper rashes in my elderly patients. This is my favorite because it is very protective, but it does stay on for a long time because it protects the skin. After each use, do not scrub it off. Its goal is to keep the skin sufficiently moisturized while also protecting it from bacteria that cause skin damage. Scrubbing it off every time could cause more harm than good, especially if your skin is thin and wrinkled. We had a CNA who would scrub it off every time (which is difficult to do) and it resulted in even more sores than before. It'll be on your skin for a while, so give it time to do its thing. I'd take it off every 2 to 3 days, lightly wiping it off in between changes.

I'm a CNA, so I use it all the time at work, and I also do home care and use it for my clients. This is so effective that some of my clients have decided to buy it. I am a firm believer in this product and will continue to use it until something better becomes available.

He was fitted with an NG tube and an IV, as well as a colon prep that caused him to poop liquid throughout the day and night. His behind didn't fare well, and it would have been nearly unbearable if it hadn't been for this cream, which provided immediate relief from the raw, red, and irritated skin. With regular use, this cream not only relieved the irritation, but also helped to prevent it. The only drawback is that it can be a little thick and may not smear easily if stored in a cool place, but the thickness is probably part of what makes it so effective, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Give it a shot if you or someone you know is suffering from broken, painful skin.

to do the job I used to use this product when I worked in a nursing home, and I recently purchased it when I needed a barrier cream for an elderly Grandparent. It has a light scent. It was a light coral color that was easy to see on both fair and dark skin tones, allowing for more even skin coverage.

We tried every other cream and piece of advice we were given, and I am OVERJOYED to have discovered Calazime cream! It's the only way to keep my son's rash from getting out of hand! We use it every time we change his diaper, and while he still gets a rash now and then, it's not nearly as bad as it was when we used Desitin, Boudreax's, Triple Paste, Vaseline, Aquaphor, and other products. We probably have 7 or 8 tubes of this stuff stashed away because we don't want to be without it! My husband had poison ivy rash all over him a few weeks ago, and he applied this cream to the affected areas, which he said instantly soothed!.

I have eczema on my hands, and hand washing and sanitizer, like everyone else, aren't helping. My hands were in such a bad state. I was able to stop them from bleeding, but they were extremely rough, dry, and cracked. Nothing seemed to be functioning properly. Even though my dermatologist prescribed steroid ointment, which usually works, it didn't help. "What do I have to lose?" I reasoned after reading the reviews. " When I wake up in the morning, I apply a layer of aloe cream and then apply this Remedy on top of that. At night, I repeat the process. Two days. TWO DAYS! My hands have nearly returned to their previous state. This book comes highly recommended.

It's very effective and well worth the money; I've tried baby butter paste and other barrier creams, and this is by far my favorite.
