The problem has become worse for the past few days and I have tried so many home remedies to remedy it. It was either I wore a band aid over them or a short was not an option for me. Camphor spirit, according to what I read on line, helped to clear up the appearance as well as make it disappear in some cases. This was the last straw that helped me decide to give it a shot. It has only been 3 days that I have used it, but already I am seeing improvements and the dermatofibroma is starting to flatten out! It is the Camphor spirits that are causing CamphoPhenique to smell funny. However, here, a liquid is present and it is at It comes out as a flake and you put it on the spot where a cold sore is forming (you know when when you feel the itching and see a little dot and wonder if it will become a cold sore). You should be able to dry it up with Camphor spirits if you catch it early enough. I always use a standard double-ended cotton swab to apply it. In one step I use the end of the swab and then I use the other end in the next step. Use only the fresh side of the swab and do not reuse the used side. Do not put any dirt or organic material inside of a bottle. Only use a clean cotton swab. Please re-read It makes no sense to use swabs. Despite their cheap price, they are still good.
