For the past six years, my son has had eczema. Prescription and over-the-counter creams and ointments have cost us hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. When I saw this new Cerave product, I decided to give it a try. He was completely healed after two weeks of twice-daily application of the lotion! He's never gone a day without at least one eczema rash in his six years. Needless to say, we are ecstatic that he will now be able to have "normal" skin! Our bathroom is now stocked with this lotion and body wash!.
Sarna is no match for you. For the past few years, I've struggled with dry, itchy skin. During that time, I discovered that Sarna (for Sensitive Skin (NOT Sarna Original) was effective in relieving itchiness, but the relief was short-lived. Cerve Anti-Inflammatory is a product I'm proud to recommend. Cerave Itch Moisturing Cream relieves itching and lasts for several hours; the one-star reviews perplex me because the reviewers appear to be describing a completely different product. Cerave does not "stink" or "watery. " Using those terms to describe the product is very deceptive and unfair! Cerave Anti-Inflammatory Treatment Itch Cream is a remarkable item.
I was in the throes of a terrible case of pruritis, which causes pain from the inside out. I was using everything I could find to relieve the itching, and when someone suggested CeraVe Itch, I tried it and it gave me enough relief to stop scratching, allowing me to heal and stop itching. It's pricey, but you don't need much of it, and it works. It's not a moisturizer that I use on a regular basis. Gold Bond Eczema Cream is my go-to for this. As an aside, cream is preferable to lotion because it contains more emollients; however, I do recommend this product.
Since a few years, I've been experiencing unexplained itching on my legs and arms. It turned into a nightmare of daily and often constant itching over the last year. I've seen a doctor, an allergist, and a dermatologist; I've had a water softener installed; I've taken vitamins, antihistamines, and allergy medications; I've had blood tests; I've taken nerve medication; and I've tried cabinets full of over-the-counter and prescription strength creams. NONE OF IT HAS WORKED SO FAR. Anyone who suffers from itching knows how disruptive it can be to one's life, which is why this cream exists. It's outrageously priced, and while it's not a complete solution, it does assist. It takes longer than two minutes, but I do feel better. As a result, I'm quite pleased with it and would gladly pay $30 for a jar. I simply apply it as soon as the itch appears, and it usually goes away in about 10 minutes. Except for steroids from the pediatrician (which I don't want him to use long term), I've tried product after product and nothing has worked. So my pediatrician advised us to buy CeraVe moisturizing cream, which we did. It didn't make things any worse, but it also didn't make things any better. Nonetheless, I decided to reorder because it had proven to be the most useful so far. Then I came across a new product called Itch Relief and decided to give it a try! Oh, my goodness! When his excema is at its worst, I put it on twice a day and it works wonders! He has experienced incredible relief as long as I keep it on him at least once a day! br>br>I'm so glad I found this product because seeing your child in pain is the worst feeling in the world.
This is for my boyfriend, so I'm ordering it. His excema and dry skin on his hands becomes extremely severe, resulting in cracks, flakiness, and red patches, as well as a great deal of itching. When he's in pain or unable to stop scratching, I feel terrible for him. He began using this cream at night and noticed a significant difference right away. His hands look so much better now that the redness has faded and the dead skin has begun to peel away. However, as soon as he stops using the cream, it ceases to function. So, if he goes even one day without using it, his discomfort returns, forcing him to rely on it for relief all of the time. As a result, it only receives four out of five stars.
I have a strange condition known as "aquagenic pruritus," which causes my skin to become extremely itchy after showers (or occasionally if I am in the heat and sweating excessively). The term "itchy" isn't quite accurate. Is it more like stinging or jolting? It can last anywhere between 15 and 60 minutes after a shower and can be quite uncomfortable at times. Other lotions, oils, and similar products were ineffective. I'd get out of the shower and stand in front of a fan to air dry (which is especially enjoyable in the winter), then apply lotion (Aveeno or Cetaphil) and wait a few minutes before dressing. Even back then, it was so unbearably uncomfortable that I despised showering and would go as long as possible between showers. br>br>This lotion is the first thing that has worked for me. I still air or pat dry before applying this all over and dressing for a few minutes. I won t say it is cured, but it is 80% better than it was before. Taking an antihistamine 30 minutes before bed 30 minutes before bed 30 minutes before bed 30 minutes before bed In case anyone else has a similar problem, I've found that waiting 60 minutes before showering and showering when I'm cool (rather than coming inside from the heat and getting straight in) helps. This is a product that I will continue to use.
