The ingredients are slightly different, as you can see in the Amazon description or on the bottle. However, because the oat extract is one of the last ingredients, it is usually the least concentrated; Amazon brand and others have more concentrated oat extract.br>However, it seems to work for both adults and babies in my family! In addition, the price per unit is lower.
That is exactly what I intend to do with it. It can't hurt, because the prescription medication made my baby's skin redder and irritated her. I'm hoping for the best.
Although the package does not mention petroleum, the ingredients list includes benzoic acid, which is derived from petroleum. I wouldn't recommend it because it contains a lot of chemicals. Especially suitable for children.
The lid isn't sealed, but there is a plastic cover over the product's opening.

My 17-year-old daughter has had severe eczema all over her body (except her face) since she was a child. Fortunately, this has been the case for a long time. We tried every product, both prescription and over-the-counter, and none of them worked. Additionally, we used phototherapy. As her eighteenth birthday approached, we discussed with her dermatologist a new injection that we wanted to try but were hesitant to do so because of potential side effects. We came across this product at Walgreens and purchased a jar as things began to deteriorate this summer. It was also a huge success! Her body has almost completely cleared up as a result of it. Her legs are still bothering her, but all I have to say is "WOW!" " Take a look at this product! We're on our seventh container, and while it's a little pricey, it's well worth it to see my girl enjoying life once more. I've included some before photos, but I don't have any current ones; however, her back, arms, and chest are now completely clear. Her legs also appear to have improved a thousandfold.
My little one was suffering from a bad case of eczema, so I tried this and it worked wonders for her skin! Would recommend.
My poor baby has eczema, so I expected great things from their baby line after using it for myself, but it has exacerbated his condition to the point where I am embarrassed to take him out of the house. His skin became irritated and swollen, and he appeared to be suffering from chemical burns. It began to crack, flake, and ooze in some places. I will never use or recommend any of the products in this line to other moms. Warning: This is a potentially dangerous situation.
I noticed her skin was covered in large, red patches the next morning, as if the cream had burned her. When looking at the ingredients, you'll notice that it contains a number of alcohols; I'm not sure why these abrasive ingredients are in a cream for babies with sensitive skin.
My baby had the worst case of baby acne, heat rash, cradle cap, and possible eczema imaginable. His skin deteriorated over time until they all appeared at the same time. I started with calendula cream and aquaphor, which helped to control the symptoms but didn't completely eliminate them. Everything cleared up after three days of using Aveeno eczema therapy (balm at night, lotion in the morning). Thank goodness for that! Although doctors say his skin will heal on its own, those bumps appear to be quite frightening!.
I've tried a lot of lotions, and this is by far the best. I'm a 30-year-old woman with extremely dry skin who gets rashes and eczema spots every now and then. I've tried several lotions over the years, including Eucerin, Cetaphil, Cerave, Vasaline, and others. I saw this one day and decided to give it a try, and my skin has never looked better. Your skin may feel tacky for a few hours the first couple of times you use it, possibly even after you wake up if you apply it at night. That does, however, fade away. I noticed the tackiness had decreased significantly after a week or so of using it daily on my entire body, and I no longer notice it. Give it a shot, especially if you can get it on Amazon for around $11. You will not be sorry!.
For the past three months, I've been dealing with an extremely difficult outbreak. I've had three steroid prescriptions and numerous recommendations from my dermatologist, but after reading the reviews here, I decided to take a chance and order this overnight. My eczema is almost gone after three days. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it is very greasy, and if you use it right before bed, it can be quite messy. It's something I use both in the morning and at night. If you have persistent eczema that needs to be relieved, this is the product to use. It was well worth every penny. I paid four times as much for a prescription cream in a tiny tube that provided no relief, and other lotions and creams that others recommended on Amazon and in stores were simply awful. This one is incredible, almost odorless, and has saved my life!.
My daughter suffers from eczema, which has recently become more stubborn as the summer heat has intensified. Her pediatrician recommended that I combine a small amount of this with a small amount of the hydrocortisone she prescribed, and it worked wonderfully. I stopped using the hydrocortisone after the rash went away, but I still use this every night, and she hasn't had any more rashes. The texture is quite thick, which I don't particularly care for, but it serves its purpose admirably.
