There was an original formula that was discontinued far too long ago to be remembered, and the manufacturer replaced it with one that was only medicated. It was not well received, much like the new diet coke a few years ago. This product is not available anywhere else, as far as I know.

So far, I'm happy with the product; however, when rotated, the top used to, and I believe it still does, alternate between open and closed positions. My most recent purchase simply spins around, so I never know whether I'll get powder in my shake or not; I'm still satisfied with the product, though I hope the issue with the cap is an anomaly, as it is extremely inconvenient.

The large shaker of this powder has become more difficult to come by in recent years. It's great for anything that needs a good dusting of body powder, such as a dog with allergy spots or hot spots. It was once widely used before the link between talc and ovarian cancer was discovered. I switched to Mexana after stopping using it.
