It's 5% zinc oxide. The product description on Amazon is incorrect. Unlike the original powder, this Ammen's powder was not developed in Germany. It doesn't contain 1% Zinc Oxide. It has only 5% Zinc Oxide. Its inactive ingredients A starch from Zea mays (corn), tricalcium phosphate, and fragrance are the main ingredients. In the event I had known that it was not the same product my husband loves, I would have stopped ordering it. Our expectations were not met by Amazon's description, though we will give it a try. The site is still up and running, I hope.

I have tried several foot powders over the years, but this is by far the best.
