Yes, the top of the box has an expiration date.

My product arrived unopened and in a tanish green color. Does that make sense? Is there any other kind of seal on it besides an open box?

On the top and bottom of the box, there should be a plastic seal, as well as a plastic sticker. If it isn't there, it's most likely a return; don't use it and return if the box isn't sealed. The liquid has a tannish white color to it.
