Hello, you can either sniff the bottle or simply spray it into your lower nostrils by squeezing it. You have the option of blowing your nose or simply moistening the nasal passages. This is a good product for me because I can't seem to get other sinus rinses to work because they get stuck in my upper passages and cause other problems, such as making me feel like I've been swimming. To clear out or moisturize the upper and lower nasal areas, use as little or as much as you like of this product. As directed on the box's side, rinse the tip after each use. You'll learn what works best for you by using it, and it's saline, so you can use it whenever you want. It is critical to note that this product does not contain any alcohol. This helps a lot with the dry nose if you take a lot of allergy pills or use antihistamines or other nasal sprays.

I can take a deep breath now! This is the easiest I've been able to breathe in a long time; I had previously tried Ocean, a nasal saline spray that didn't do much if anything, but this is different. br>br>I sprayed two sprays into each nostril, and it burned a little because it's so salty. My sinuses and nose began to clear up miraculously after about ten minutes. Almost everything triggers my severe allergies. I am constantly struggling to take a breath. It's like I've grown a new nose all of a sudden. br>br>I wish I'd come across this sooner. I'm going to use this every night and morning for the rest of my life; I feel brand new. If you're having trouble breathing, give this a try.
I normally use a prescription nasal spray, but I wasn't happy with how reliant I'd become on it. I'd feel like I had a sinus infection if I didn't use it for even a day. I needed something gentler to help me get off of that, so I tried this, expecting it to be a nightmare, but it actually works quite well. I might eventually give in and get one with an antihistamine, but only because the oral allergy medicine I'm taking isn't working anymore. In any case, I am very impressed with the product and strongly suggest it.
I bought a Neti pot on two separate occasions but couldn't bring myself to open either one. The idea of having to buy special water, wash the pot, clean the sink, and so on seemed to add a lot more time and responsibilities to my already overburdened schedule. To be completely honest, I don't follow the instructions for using the product. Instead, I lean back in my chair, spray the product, and then raise my head to sniff it. It's not a pleasant experience for me to sniff with my head back. That's how I feel about all nose sprays, not just this one. When I use it, I spray it several times (head back, spray, head up, sniff), starting with a small amount and working my way up to several full sprays. That way, I get used to feeling and tasting the saline solution, which is actually quite pleasant. I used to use it every morning and night, but now that my sinuses, ears, and nose are so much better, I only use it when I remember. Perhaps once every three days or so. The good news is that I am immune to colds and flu. Since I started using this, I've noticed things like symptoms and so on. It's wonderful that I haven't been sick in nearly a year! PS Compared to the other Ayr mists, this hypertonic mist works better for me. Some of them don't appeal to me, and others don't appear to work.
This is a relatively inexpensive way for me to get saline into my nasal and sinus cavities because I have Sjogren's syndrome and suffer from extreme dryness in my nose, eyes, and mouth. It's a little difficult to get enough up there, but the alternative is a much more expensive Arm and Hammer pump mister, so I keep these in my cars and the Arm and Hammer misting pump by my bed, as it does run down my throat and irritate it. If your head is completely upright, these squeeze bottles will work fine. I am a monthly subscriber and receive two of these.
I've been using Ocean spray since my doctor recommended it, and it works as a lubricant but not much else. Ayr works better in some ways, and while it stings a little when you put it in, the results are undeniable. I tried it last night instead of taking my second dose of steroids and discovered that I didn't need them! br>br>The instructions say not to touch the spray tip to the inside of your nose, and I think I do it every time, though I'm not sure how to avoid it because this spray is more squirty than others. It will run out if I hold it too far away from my nose. br>br>I like it a lot and will tell others about it.
I used to use an over-the-counter sterile saline spray for sinus allergies during the day and a sinus rinse at night, but I recently switched to the sterile saline spray and haven't needed the nightly rinse in over a week. It makes my life easier.
My allergies are strange; instead of a runny nose, my nose and sinuses become inflamed, swollen, congested, and dry, causing me to wake up at night unable to breathe through my nose. Because of these symptoms, traditional allergy antihistamines are ineffective because they dry out my nose even more, exacerbating my symptoms rather than alleviating them. This product will open my nasal passages for at least a couple of hours, allowing me to return to sleep. Some nights, I only need to use it once or twice, while other nights, when my symptoms are more severe, I may need to use it four or five times to get through the night. Because it's medicated, I can use it as much as I need without going over the recommended dosage.
