This is a tiny medicine, about the same size as a baby aspirin, but with a slightly different taste. A tiny size. If you need to crush them so they can be added to liquid or food, they are easily broken apart. These were bought for my 2 year old who has a cough that comes on when it's windy or when we've been outside too much, which I presume is an allergy since it's allergy season - we're all allergic to allergies in this My son has awful seasonal allergies that make his nose run, make him rub his eyes and make him sneeze, sneeze, cough, etc. There is allergy medicine for children under 2 years old made by Allegra, but considering what the medications are like to me (the fact that my son cannot say the stomach hurts or that his head is freaking out), I would rather not risk giving him that medicine. There is no need to use any other because this one is easy to crush, simple to put in his milk, and just two a day keeps him from sneezing, coughing, or getting a runny nose no matter how much time we spend outside. Only thing I have noticed is a happy 2-year-old playing outside in the mud and dirt enjoying the mess he's made without coughing or running a temperature. It will be a while before I reorder more when the bottle I have gets low, but since there are so many in one bottle, I think we're good for now. Thank you, My son was born with Hyland's and these are the only places I can find them - I've been using them since then. In particular, I highly recommend the cold medicine for infants and toddlers available from Hyland's.

Allergies are a major problem for my grandson. His allergist had prescribed a prescription allergy medicine that was no longer working, so I added this to his regimen in an attempt to help. As a matter of fact, it's done so well for him that we've discontinued the potentially harmful prescription medications and are just using this, as well as giving some to my son, who is experiencing allergy problems. However, it works as well for my adult son as well, even though it was developed as a child's strength. As a result of my positive experience, I just subscribed to this and plan to try other medicines from that same company in the future in consultation with my doctor.

I've had success with these! My toddler suffers from really bad seasonal allergies and take benedryl makes him so cranky that it is a bad experience for him and me. These work without causing him to be drowsy. As an alternative, I give one once in the morning and perhaps once in the afternoon if necessary. I don't follow the instructions and give so many every day so often, but if needed, once in the AM and once in the afternoon works.

For my 10 year old brother who is always coughing when the weather changes or because he is out in the sun too long, I bought these. There is no point in me forcing him to take medicine or pills, he refuses no matter what. Furthermore, he seems to have awful side effects from many other medicines due to the chemicals in them. Furthermore, they are small, easy to crush, and I am able to hide them in his food or drink, which makes them natural. The best part is that I haven't noticed any side effects since giving him the supplement.

Since we started using this product, my son does not have to take his Zyrtec allergy medication! In fact, I bought this for my allergic cat, who is absolutely opposed to taking any type of medicine unless she is injected by the vet directly. One of the seeds was able to be crushed and mixed with her wet food - she ate the mix. I have tried to hide medicine in her food before, but she has become suspicious and refuses to eat it. Neither she nor I seem to have any problems with it! I love it.
