It works well for cherry eye in pugs. My pug had one, and she had surgery. We used it before the surgery, and I still use it even now if she has any problems with her eyes.

Because of the less preservatives and the fact that there is no preservative in the product, I love it! My old eye doctor recommended it to me. My search for a better eye drop for dry eyes has not resulted in a successful product. Old-school hard contact lenses are what I wear. This gel will be used during the winter months at night when it's cold, but I prefer to use it on a daily.
