My free sensor still disappeared after about 5 days. This app works pretty well but it's not perfect. I added a SIMPATCH to the sensor and have not had any problems since. My two main products are Mastisol and Mastisol Max There is a SIMPATCH.
Matisol is an excellent product that adds an extra layer of protection and enables a longer use of the OmniPod (especially in the hot months).
You may want to consider this if you are looking for a long-term solution. When I lived in Houston, Texas, I used it to keep my DexCom G6 sensor and Tandem insulin pump catheter in place even when I was sweating It works unless you are completely soaked in sweat for a long period of.
She uses the Freestyle Libre, and the sensors cannot be adjusted. Her latex allergy is aggravated by this product because it doesn't hold as well as an adhesive. Sorry to hear that.
The libre would get rid of itself if I hooked it on something, but after applying mastisol it never comes off again.
The purpose of this is to keep the insulin pump in place for a longer period of time. A pump for storing insulin can be used in the shower and even under water. At times, you may need to use adhesive remover to remove it due to the strength of the adhesive.
After 4 days, not only did the sensor fall off, but my skin was also severely irritated. As a result of trying it twice, I got the same error.
