Put EPOXY to work With their low price, these tabs will work great if you DO NOT use the adhesive patches provided. The stickers really stick to smooth surfaces, however, as soon as tension is applied by using some bungees, they will pop off completely ! A fish of mine came off on the very first trip! No matter how hard they try to stay on, I'm sure they will stay on if no force is exerted on them. But what's the point? Hence, these are cheap and will work well AS LONG AS you prepare them well and follow those directions Add an Epoxy resin to your deck and attach it with a strong.
was not as good as it could have been. It may have been my error, but it didn't seem to hold very well In addition to holding down my fishing gear, I wanted to use them on my SUP board. I felt like I wasn't holding on very well.
The pads work great for my board my suggestion is to use an epoxy glue with very strong adhesion.
My actions were in line with the instructions. The deck of my SUP was cleaned before the tabs were applied. After letting them cure for a couple days, I took my SUP out for a quick paddle. There are weak adhesive stickers on three of the tabs. Three of the four tabs have fallen off of the board. Sorry to hear that.
Adhesive instructions advise it to be left to cure for 24 hours. On a camping trip, I used these on my SUP. As of now, everything seems to be going well. As ordered, I let the adhesive cure for 24 hours, as that is what the instructions recommended.
On my paddle board, the adhesive did not work, so I was not able to use these.
