This is one of the best pads you can get
5/5

One of the best quality bed pads on the market is Ultrasorb's line of bed pads. My experience has been that these are among the most absorbent bed pads that I have tried. The first time I heard about Medline's pads was during one of my frequent hospital visits. Atop Mount Baker, you can witness the spectacular view. I have had numerous surgeries at the Sanai hospital, and they use the Extrasorbs pads almost every time. There are two different Ultrasorb lines available and both seem to have a similar quality but slightly higher price point. A dog with Cushings Syndrome and a temperament that cannot wait to get outside that I have currently uses bed pads on my floor. There is another mattress pad that is more absorbent, and it is called McKesson Maximum. Even though I agree with all of the good reviews for this product, they do so in a manner that contradicts what the product actually does. Comparing the rate of absorption and the capacity of the Maximum to absorb fluids, I feel that it absorbs more quickly and has greater absorbency. While the Ultrasorbs is slightly softer on the skin and may retain odors better, it is harder to wash. Secondly, there is a comparison of price and McKesson Maximum wins handily in that comparison. There are two Ultrasorbs in a case for $2 each. There is an additional charge of $2. 00 $1 is the McKesson Maximum. It is much cheaper to buy a pad for 34 cents per pad.

Since I have been in the ICU, I have grown even more fond of them
5/5

While I was a nurse at the beginning of my career, we used a product that was not very absorbent but, as it was a fluid protection product, it was a positive change as it reduced the amount of linens that needed My department of materials management in our intensive care unit initially asked me to review this product. The patients should not, for the most part, sit in their own urine - the odor alone is likely to make patients uncomfortable. Unfortunately, some ICU patients can't be moved as much as they would like to. Skin breakdown occurs when there is too much moisture in the skin. pads pull fluid away from the patient in a way that no other product in this market can. The top feels very dry almost like a baby diaper as well.

It's the kind that's used in hospitals
5/5

Underpads are such a necessity for me that I don't know how I survived without them. My husband was hospitalized when I learned about them for the first time. Then, after he returned home, I found them on Amazon and decided to order will save him from picking up the mattress on the floor and sitting in the chair I love this because everything is so much cleaner and I can use them so easily.

There were two missing packs, but only one was sent
3/5

This is a subscription I have every month without any problems. Only one packet was sent to me today instead of four. It would be helpful if I could get the other three Due to my father's deteriorating condition and the fact that we cannot find these pads in stores, I had to make them.

A great disposable underpad that is strong and durable
5/5

The first time I tried these pads was while my mother was in the hospital, and then as soon as she came home I ordered them from Amazon and they were delivered straight to my door. Any other underpad would be ashamed of them. Their strength, absorbency, and, most importantly, their lack of leakage make them a great choice. Besides not ripping, they are easy to move while a patient is on the bed. A pad like this is also a great choice for puppies as urine odors aren't allowed to escape.

The absorbency of the product is excellent
5/5

The pads from Medline are not the only ones I have used. I like this version of the game. Doesn't leak. It absorbs, but doesn't leak. I am very pleased, and will order again. In contrast, if Amazon leaves the box right outside my porch door with the contents sitting in the rain within a few feet of a dry porch, the product will be.
