Questions & Answers

This is not stated in the description. Is it able to withstand water?

They were not waterproof when I bought them in December of this year. I initially assumed that urine had leaked out the side, but I tried them on my incontinent dog several times and they were a complete failure.

Is it possible to dry them?

Yes, you can put them in the dryer. There is no softener in the fabric.

What is the amount of water it takes in? In a guinea pig cage under the fleece, I'd like to use this instead of puppy pads. ?

My 77-pound senior dog is a joy to have around. These pads have a lot of absorbency! I had to pay $40 for the disposable XL pads. For a box of 50 pads, the price is 00. I've managed to save a substantial sum of money. These pads have so far remained stain-free despite daily laundering. They're very easy to wash and dry. I wash in cold water and do not use fabric softener when drying.

Is it necessary for me to wash them before I use them?

You have complete control over this. There was no label advising one way or the other, as far as I can remember. Most items that come into contact with my skin are washed before I use them. However, I've used the pads under the top sheet on the bed and under a chair seat cover without washing them first.

I had no idea I'd end up as a caregiver or the changes that would occur along the way until it happened to me
5/5

It's not enjoyable to be incontinent. I had a vision a few years ago at 2 a. m. , while changing sheets, throwaway pads, blankets, and everything. These washable pads are layered in a bed. Come in at 2 a. m. , peel off a layer, toss it in the extra super dirty pile, and retire to your bed. Voilá! It had the desired effect. A layer under the sheets - I ordered a lot of the largest ones. No more squeezing the foam mattress topper to get it to dry! A layer of I plan ahead over the sheets, and voila, a clean bed in a flash. The rinsing can be handled by professionals during business hours, and I can be a good caregiver without staying up all night or vomiting on the job. My pros come in at normal rates and work normal hours to complete the tasks that I am unable to complete. 'Presto,' says the narrator. My life's worth has been restored! br>br>Technically, it is as follows: They soak up a lot of information. Nothing soaks through to the other side or runs off the edges, ensuring that the sheets are kept clean. The mattress is kept dry. The mattress topper is completely safe and dry. I'm not irritable in the least. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves.

BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! The product has been updated! PERSONAL TOUCH HEALTH CARE APPAREL IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BUY THESE
3/5

This was a reorder of Medline brand pads, which I had purchased the previous year. Instead of Medline, I received a Chinese knockoff set. There is no brand name on the item. They leak like a sieve on furniture after being washed. If you don't get the Medline pads, you'll end up with a disaster. I'd like a refund of my funds. This is a complete waste of time.

THE CURRENT PRODUCT IS HORRIBLE AND UNSATISFACTORY
3/5

I ordered this product in 2017, and each pad was thickly padded and well-absorbent at the time. It was a good size, and the pads lasted a long time and were machine washable to my satisfaction. Overall, a great product; I reordered it about a week ago. This product is currently in a bad state. ENTIRELY UNSATISFYING. Each pad is extremely thin, with almost no padding and NO ABSORPTION, leaving a pool of liquid to "live with. " I like the size, but I don't think this particular item will last very long. It's also unlikely that it'll hold up to repeated machine washings. I'm very unhappy with the product that was sent to me. I was even more dissatisfied because I "reordered" it from my previous order's listing. I was under the impression that I'd get the same HIGH-QUALITY product as I did in 2017. The current product is a complete and utter rip-off. I have no idea what Medine is up to, but you can bet no future orders will be placed with them.

Instead of using disposables, you can save money by using these
5/5

I should've gotten these a long time ago. For some reason, I had the impression that my daughter would be completely potty trained in no time, but that was obviously wishful thinking. I went through a lot of disposable pads before giving up and getting these. Pulling off all of the tape covers and positioning the disposable pads on the bed is a pain. Because they are so cheaply made, even if it was a dry night, the pad would be nearly ruined. These pads are far superior! br>br> They keep all of the moisture on the pad (just like disposables), but they're far too easy to put on and take off. I would simply fold it and put it in the laundry room if it was wet in the morning, and it never stank. I washed them at the end of the week and they came out looking brand new! We've had these pads for at least 6 months and they're still in perfect condition. I can't tell you how much money I saved by making the switch!.

Superior quality - fyi- The pink side of the picture is descending
4/5

As a registered nurse, I was blown away by the size, thickness, and quality of these, especially considering they were only $22 for four! That is incredible! I've made thousands of ICU beds and can honestly say that instead of the paper chux we all use, I wish we had these for patients to lie on. br>br>I bought these to put under disposable wee pads because my older dog seems to go right to the pad's edge. You've had enough of steam cleaning your carpet. These are perfect for it! br>br> I also put one on each side of the bed because someone puked on the comforter in the middle of the night several times in the previous year. (18-year-old cat or dogs, before I switched their food) It's a lot simpler to lay one down and then cover it with a "dog sheet. " Whatever happens, simply peel off the soiled layer(s), and the bed, and, most importantly, the comforter, are still clean at 3 a. m. Simply swap out the pad and sheet for clean ones. I'm going to sleep again. br>Things happen when it comes to older animals and rescues. I strongly suggest it. br>br> Follow the manufacturer's instructions for washing. I take mine out of the dryer and stretch them flat before hanging them over a chair to finish drying. br>It may seem obvious, but I believe they should include instructions that the 'pink' side should be facing down and the soft white quilted side should be facing the person or pet. I put water on the pink side to see if they were leak proof when I first got them. br>Water will sit for a long time and not absorb or run off, which is good because it means it will not leech through the quilted side when in use. On each side, I conducted several tests. There are no leaks, except for the extreme edge, which is mentioned below. br>I got the ones that could hold a jumbo wee pad. I keep two dirty ones and two clean ones in my bag at all times. I'd like to eventually move away from disposable products entirely. My dogs go outside to relieve themselves; these are backups and for when I'm not around. br>br>My only gripe is that if the dogs get too close to the edge, water will leak under and along the edge. It's not a defect in the product; simply order a size larger than you think you'll require. br>br>I've always thought these would be useful for a variety of purposes. Car rides, crates, and a variety of other items, such as something to sit on when leaving the pool or lake if you need to drive somewhere to change. Some of my art would benefit from it as well. process of making pottery No problem, bob, if I accidentally knock over clay or paint water.
