Product Description

Post-Surgery Recovery and Support – the mastectomy drainage pouch was created to support your body and safely hold drain bottles following cancer surgery, augmentation, or reconstruction.
A blue mesh bag is included in every mastectomy drainage pouch, allowing you to shower freely. In and out of the shower, this is the solution for your post-surgical drains. The water simply runs through due to the open mesh design. Cleaning, drying, and reusing them is a breeze. Designed to be worn around the waist, but depending on your surgery, you can tie it behind your neck or convert it to a crossbody bag.
The pink drain carrier pouch is made of breathable soft fabric and can be used on a daily basis. Moisture-wicking and comfortable, they can hold bottles all day and night and won't irritate your skin or bother you, and they provide breathable support.
The shower bag that comes with the mastectomy drainage pouch for women adds even more support, and they're easy to clean and reuse because they're made of durable, lightweight mesh. More freedom is provided by a waist belt with a drainage pouch and a high-elastic stretch band.
The pink mastectomy drainage pouch with waist Belt has two separate pouches that can be used to safely store drain bottles. This drain carrier Pouch apron can be worn under a long shirt and your drains will be hidden thanks to the protective design of the bag, which includes a protective cover to ensure bottles don't slip out at night.

Questions & Answers

Will each drain pocket be able to hold two drain bottles, allowing for someone with four drains to be accommodated?

Yes. It'll be cramped, but it'll get the job done. I finally settled on disk-shaped drains, which fit perfectly into the pockets.

Will each drain pocket be able to hold two drain bottles, allowing for someone with four drains to be accommodated?

It will, in fact. This is an excellent item. I'm currently using it and I couldn't be happier. Each pocket could easily accommodate two drains. Good luck with your endeavors.

What if you're planning on having six drains?

One of my drains was very tender, so hanging it on my waist was fine. One of the smaller pouches fits two bulbs, but I think it would be too tight for three bulbs. As a result, I would recommend purchasing two units rather than one. You could also get one and then order the other if the first three don't fit. The shower pouch is larger, but it won't hold six bulbs, so you'll need two. Best of luck!

The material is too stretchy and causes discomfort
3/5

I had to buy this on the spur of the moment to replace a custom one I had made three years ago that had gone missing; I know it's not perfect, but it's not working for me and causing more problems than it's worth. br>The shower bag zipper will not close, and the zipper is completely broken. So my drains simply fall out and dangle, causing me pain and adding to my problems by requiring me to constantly check that they do not fall out. And, in order to wear it, I have to tie it in a knot and keep untying and tying it to make the adjustments where I can catch the jp drains from falling out and where they will be out of the way for maximum comfort. On top of that, the bag absorbs a lot of water, making it heavy. Why is it made of a material that absorbs so much water if it's for the shower? br>br>At this time, the belt and pouches do not appear to be designed for long-term use. I'm a tiny woman who required this for abdominal surgery. Because I suffer from seroma, I keep the drains on for three days. 4 weeks. From the moment I put it on, I knew it was strange. The belt is made of a very nice soft, stretchy, and comfortable material. The adjustment part simply slides back to the end due to the material's inability to stay in one place. To keep from falling down, I must wear it above my b**bs. The belt twirls and turns, and the pouches are attractive, but that's all there is to it. When the drain bags are heavy and full, they twist and come inside out too easily, stretching them out to the point where I have to dig them out with difficulty. Mine will drain bulbs 100ml every few hours for the first four days after surgery, then only in the morning for the next week. When you wear it, the pouches twist and turn, dragging your tubing all over the place. br>br>I'd say this is fine if you only need a jp drain holder for a day or two. However, if you're looking for a long-term solution and have a slim, petite build like I do, this is the way to go. You may not be able to use these.

This product is a game changer when it comes to recovery
5/5

Three weeks ago, I underwent a double mastectomy. I was sent home with four drains, which made me feel like a Christmas tree with ornaments dangling from my bra. I assumed the consumer market would have something that would allow me to better manage (and hide) them. These are the best. br>br>I could just slip the drains into this waist holster and wear them under my lounge pants or dresses and go about my business; I even used them to return to work and meet with clients. This product will make a huge difference in your recovery. I strongly suggest it.

Perfect for JP drains after a mastectomy
5/5

It's ideal for transferring drains between clothing changes. I didn't wear the belt much for everyday wear because I didn't want them to fall out or the pouches to hang out of my shirt (couldn't get the belt to stay in place), but it was perfect for holding while changing. It was a lifesaver to have the shower pouch. Much better than the hangers and safety pins I've seen women use.

Drainage management that is effective
5/5

Because I had surgery that required two drains, I purchased this set. The belt was able to rest in the middle of my abdomen, concealing the drains and allowing me to wear it as comfortably as possible. The set also came with a shower bag, which I used as soon as I got home from the hospital. The drains in the shower were contained in the bag, which was then dried each day and reused. Both products were extremely useful, and I'm glad I had them on hand when I returned home from the hospital.

This is fantastic
5/5

This is a must-have if you're having a mastectomy. This was a major turning point in my life. Wearing this and putting my drains inside was so much easier than hanging them on a bra, and who wants to wear a bra after a double mastectomy? Because it's adjustable, I was able to position it exactly where I needed it. br>The shower 1 is nice, but I had to tie a couple knots in it to keep it up higher so I could bathe, and it's a single pouch, so I think a divider would be better, but it worked fine because it came with the other pouch!.

Even nurses and doctors were impressed that I had these, which I was surprised to learn
5/5

You'd think they'd recommend them or even give them to patients because the time between diagnosis and surgery is usually short, but we have a lot on our minds. I'm so happy I got them! I can't imagine how much more difficult things would have been if they hadn't been there.

The best thing I bought for my mastectomy
5/5

This was the best gift I could have received in preparation for my mastectomy and flap reconstruction surgery. I bought two mastectomy shirts that were ok but I ended up wearing the pouch 99% of the time. It is soft and easy to wear in bed, Held up well, comfortable, and.
