The belt can be adjusted to your desired length. It's an elastic belt.
Without tilting the bag, it can hold two bottles.
Good day, there! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my products. The belt can be shortened or lengthened. It makes no difference how big your waist is. The belt is made of a supple material with a lot of give. It has a lot of flexibility. Thank you very much!
I don't believe so; the pouches are attached to a waist belt, and the other white pouch is used for showering. For the shower, I wrapped the white one around my neck. I could be wrong, but I believe the drain bulbs should be placed slightly lower than the surgery area.

When I went for my pre-op, I didn't know what to expect. I was going to my mastectomy appointments and realized I'd have to deal with the drains in some way, so I asked my doctor. for advice from nurses. They said they didn't know anything and that I should pin them to a lanyard for showers, but they didn't have any suggestions for the rest of the time, so I went to Amazon and found this super cool drain management product. They performed admirably, and all of the doctors and nurses who cared for me post-op in the hospital were impressed and surprised to learn of their existence. I'm hoping they'll keep this in mind for future patients. I'd like to find a place to donate it now that it's barely used and the pouches can be machine washed.
Despite the fact that the price appears to be a little high for what it is, I enjoyed this product and used both the belt and the mesh pocket the entire time I had my drains in. The belt was actually quite comfortable, and I didn't have any issues with it throughout the night. I preferred having my drains in a belt pocket to having them in a shirt pocket. They made me feel like they were closer to my body, so there was less chance of them being tugged on by accident. Because the pockets on the belt move around, I had to adjust their location from time to time, but that was fine because it depended on how I sat or lay down. With the drains, the mesh bag was ideal for bathing and showering. Wrap it around my neck and place it behind me.
Two drain bulbs can be stored in each sack on the belt. So there are a total of four. I usually wear a size XXL and stretch this belt as far as it will go, but as you can see in the photos, it can still stretch quite a bit. The belt is extremely soft and comfortable to wear. I don't have any issues with the buckle digging into my skin, and I've never felt it. The mesh shower lanyard hangs from your neck and can be adjusted to hang at your waist or chest; the strap is soft and won't irritate your skin when you're out in public. Two drain bulbs can be stored in each of the mesh sac's two pockets. So there are a total of four. br>br>This is seriously the best thing you can buy for drain management. These have made my life a whole lot easier. For the past three years, I've been utilizing them. For the past five weeks, I've worn the belt 24 hours a day, seven days a week, excluding rainy days, and the product has shown no signs of wear.
I'm on my second day home from the hospital, and the tubes pinned to my shirt are pulling on my shirt more and more as the collection balls fill up. When pinned, they can catch on things; mine caught on the edge of the table when I stood up, and that's when I switched to this method. I have extremely sensitive skin, but the elastic is a gentler type, and the belt is easily adjustable. The pockets move as well, and today I'm wearing the holster style ("pistol packing Mama"), and it's nice to be able to adjust them to your liking; they feel much more secure on the belt, and two drainage bulbs fit into each pocket. I was given permission to take a quick shower today, but it's still early and I haven't done so, but the mesh bag will be fantastic because what else would you do to keep them from hanging, which you can't do? I'm so glad I got this set, and I'm going to order another for someone who will be embarking on this adventure in a month.
After my bilateral mastectomy, these came in handy. They are adjustable and made of breathable fabric. I had four drains, two of which could fit in one pocket. The shower drain holder was also extremely useful. It's also adjustable, which I think is a plus. They're simple to clean and dry, and they're also lightweight. dry.
The family member I gave them to, who was recovering from a double mastectomy and reconstruction, gave them an A. She liked that they came with a shower caddy so she could wash her hair on her own, and that the two pouches weren't connected (unlike some other post-mastectomy aprons), allowing her to adjust them depending on where her drains were and where she felt most comfortable. They also allowed her to return to "normal" clothes sooner and simply add this on, rather than purchasing a large amount of post-mastectomy clothing, and they allowed her to be somewhat mobile without worrying about dragging her drains around or accidentally disconnecting one. If you're having surgery, or if you want to give a thoughtful gift to a family member who might not think to get one for themselves, this is a great option.
I wore it for a total of seventeen days. Until the drains were cleared. (The mesh bag will be used to shower in. ) ) Four bulbs fit easily into both bags. It was so comfortable and easy to adjust that I forgot I was wearing it most of the time. You can either group all of your bulbs together or separate them to each side; without these, I would not have made it! Other options were too bulky, had too small pockets, and were stiff in the waist; this is exactly what you need!.
Following a double mastectomy, this was a huge help. Pinning the drains to everything was much more difficult than using the belt. In addition, the white "shower pouch" was a godsend.
