It is economical and reliable to use a single piece drainage bag. The ostomy I have had for 10 years is pretty complicated. When I was unable to find this product from an in-town vendor, there was a snag. Several months ago, I made a purchase from an online retailer. To get this item, it would take between one and two weeks. The fact that it's available on Amazon surprised me. Prime membership enabled me to order the item, since it was a prime item. There is a lower price tag on this product. I began with the two piece, with the wafer and snap on bags, due to my inability to obtain the one piece early on. When you added both items, the price went up. Despite its two pieces, I found that they were not airtight at all. When flatus was passed, I could smell an odor. When it comes to the one piece, the situation is different. A seal of airtightness has been achieved. With the two-piece wafer, I could feel the edges pushing into my side when I bent over. This was not the case with the wafer. My joints are functioning normally and I can bend and move with no problem. I have shaved, showered, and soaked in hot tubs without any issues.
