In order to help turn my father into bed, I ordered this - he is currently in hospice care. I love the handles, the fact that it washes well, and the fact that it's quite durable. One would think that the hospice medical equipment suppliers would have included this with the bed / but it did not appear to be the case. In case anyone is lying down in bed, you should take their measurements so that this is long enough to extend from their shoulders to around their thighs. There's a lot to like here, and it's a good buy.

Because some pads are quite small, you either need to have the patient sit in the center of the pad or you need to do some maneuvering once I chose this one so she won't be ashamed to show it off and it will allow for graceful repositioning as well. I am very pleased with the product and the speed of the delivery.

She, at the end of the cancer treatment, lost the use of her legs due to it spreading to her spine. saw a similar one when she was in the hospital, but they did not have a pull strap. These were SO helpful for my mom, and I ordered a couple for myself as well. As a result of the straps, I was able to reposition her without getting help. Several hospice nurses commented that they had not seen strapped slings like these before, and that others would be recommended. I had a very difficult time physically repositioning her because my mom was in a lot of pain. It was much easier, much less painful this way. My mom lost her battle with cancer on July 26th. However, though I was able to find so many good things on Amazon, I am glad that I encountered these pads. Besides making life so much easier, due to these low cost items, her insurance was not needed. She was able to purchase what she needed when she needed it.

This product is best for turning the patient to clean and change them. Having strong, secure handles that are placed properly is very important. The blouse is easy to clean in the washing machine even after it has been stained (after spraying it It's a good idea to have 2 in case one needs to be washed!.

I got them for my mother after hearing from her caregivers that she would enjoy them. We are all VERY pleased with them. I love it for being easy to get her in and out of bed and for her to have protection from pee. This is fantastic.

Due to an accident, my husband is bedridden. A product such as this is extremely useful for positioning and turning. The workers at my home health care agency were so impressed, they copied the brochure to show to their other patients, telling us that it had been very helpful to them as well. My first one will go in the wash this week I will order a second. It may be washed and dried well as well.

There is plenty of room for two people to stand comfortably on the pad, but the handles are too far apart, so the pads will bung up when carried by someone.

Despite being waterproof and strong, it is very soft for skin of all kinds. As an extra precaution against accidental falls, a disposable bed pad is positioned under the disposable bed pad to help move, rotate, and adjust a bedridden family member. Easily cleaned in the washing machine.
