Questions & Answers

Do these have a shelf life?

If they aren't soiled, they can be used for a few days before they need to be disposed of.

What is the ability of these sheets to stick in place when they are laid out?

As they are not attached to the bed, they do not stick to it. Although they don't slide easily, they do slide a little.

How strong are these pads if a 300-pound object is positioned on top of them? Who are you?

If I was to describe it as almost like cloth, I wouldn't be able to grab corners and lift 300 lbs. I myself am 450 pounds and I could move and readjust without ripping. I can lift my weight on my own at 6'4" and 450 pounds. That's really great to hear, I hope it As far as I know, mine was never saturated when moving, just keeping blood from a wound from the

The pads have the honeycomb pattern, do they not?

In my case, all three pads have quilted backs, but the blue back is dimpled while the white back has larger dots that are more evenly spaced.

It was announced that Cardinal Health had bought out Covidien
3/5

The quality of these pads has changed since the buyout and they are not as good as they once were. While they might be fine for puppy pads, if you take care of someone who is bedridden, these pads do not have the same quality and strength as the old Covidien pads, which I adored. With 115 pounds on my shoulders, there is no way I can position the person I care for using these new pads. These days, we no longer use them to transfer 200 pounds and more. A second issue is that they do not absorb fluids as well as Covidien. There has not yet been a test of the capacity. This purchase ended up being disappointing and does not warrant the additional charge to have.

It is great to use a Coleman pad! It's so much better than any other mattress pad we've used for my mother-in-law while she was bedridden! It is even possible to reposition her in bed without the use of a drawsheet or transfer sheet since she is a big lady
5/5

Our first one stayed on the bed for 4 days without being wet or ruined. The linen was changed out with hers. The woman is a heavy wetter and had soaked her bed and clothes with another brand at least twice in the past Make sure you take the Coviden pads at least three times a day before ordering! This was a great purchase, and I will have no problems ordering it again.

They are amazing quality * We love them! It is amazing what these pads do! Although they "breathe", they do not leak through, and my husband does not perspire the same way he did when he was using the regular plastic pads
5/5

These felt like they were made of thin foam and made my husband sweat like crazy. The pads also keep him dry and are strong so they could be used to pick him up in Lastly, the pads last longer, so they do not need to be changed out every day unless they are in any way contaminated. Due to their quality and durability, you'll find that the cost of these pads doesn't go up in the long run because they are cheaper in the short term. The first time I learned about these pads was when my husband was in the hospital last year, and we have been using them There are no words to describe how highly I recommend these pads!.

The quality of these is better than other brands, but the hold is not as good as other brands
3/5

I've been using this brand with the same number for a long time. From another supplier, I was getting 15 at a time. I saw that these are pack 40s and have the It was assumed that P3036c and P3036d were the same, but they aren't. They last longer than other brands, however, they do not hold up as well as other same brand, same order number products! They were a little thinner when I initially noticed them, but when I tried them, they were I am disappointed.

It was so nice to find these on Amazon recently while I was seeking help for home health nursing
5/5

The stuff we found on Amazon was so useful when we were in the middle of home health nursing. The fact that they're so strong is one thing that amazes me. During my visit to the hospital, I observed that one person on each side of the patient could grasp the pad and use it to lift the patient up in the bed (patients often move toward the foot of the bed and need to be repositioned).

Just a little more, and you'll get a great deal Initially, I learned about this product while my husband was in the hospital
5/5

I searched Amazon for the book because I was so impressed. The reusable cloth underpads with protective backing that I have been using are washable. great, but only in a certain sense. On the other hand, if you must travel or have health issues that keep you awake at night, these are unbeatable. The pros are Their light weight and small size make them easy to transport They are highly absorbent and wick moisture away from the skin so that it The cons are Although more expensive, they have the advantage of being disposable and easier to clean up. In addition, you won't need to do any laundry more. I highly recommend them for anyone who has to travel! This book is highly recommended. In the past, I used both these and the reusable bed pads, based on the circumstances. Cost isn't the biggest issue with these, and they're a godsend!.

This is an affordable It is almost hospital grade for a fraction of the price
5/5

This is the same quality as another Amazon product we used for over a year at two times the price. They're also lighter, making it easier for me to open the box and store them, and causing less garbage to be generated. Those are awesome! I love them!.

This pad is perfect for healing wounds under pads
5/5

This is the perfect bed pad to use under In addition to being breathable, they also allow air to circulate through them to promote wound healing and alleviate Under pads are tough enough to stay in place while at the same time being re-usable It can hold a weight of up to 300 pounds. This bag will fit over a person and will also keep a lot of fluids without leaking.
