Questions & Answers

Are there any screens included, or must you purchase them separately?

Because your question is four years old, I'm guessing you've already made up your mind. However, for the benefit of anyone who is currently studying Q, As for the A's, the answer is that it depends on what you buy, and you should be cautious when shopping. You can purchase the device without a screen. Replacement screens are available in packs of two, five, or twelve. You can also buy a "kit," which is available from at least two sources on Amazon. The tool, two screens, and a small (as in tiny) jar of cream are all included in the kit. The kits I found on Amazon cost $18. For $17, you can get a 99-piece set with free shipping (non-Prime). something that ships via Amazon Prime. Amazon, thank you very much. I paid 25 /- at the salon/retail store where I purchased mine. Years ago, the company was no longer in operation.

I cracked the holder because I overtightened it; is there a replacement?

Another reviewer recommended it, and I concur. buying three sanding screen M 100 grit for DRY WALL Make your own cuts. It's not free, but it's a lot less expensive than a callus remover. replacements available for purchase

Is it effective on toes as well?

It should work on anything with a hard callous, in my opinion. It's abrasive, which is exactly what I was looking for. Perhaps begin slowly and see how far your toes will go.

Do you wash the screen after each use or do you throw it away?

After I've used the screen, I rinse. I replace them with when the screen becomes too soft. At the medium grade level, 3M Drywall screens are used. Who knew that's what those screens were, and they're a lot less expensive than replacements. If you tap the reducer, the area that holds the screen will crack.

I've had it for a year and have used it very little
3/5

I changed the screen once and the bracket holding it in place simply snapped. The design is flawed. This is my second one, and the first one also broke along the screw hole. The bracket is made of the same rigid, inflexible acrylic that the handle is made of. As a result of the hole drilled through the middle, the bracket's integrity will be jeopardized, and it will be vulnerable to breaking in half. Acrylic has a tendency to brittleness. The screw will snap if you tighten it too much. This has been their design for quite some time, and I previously owned one, so I'm disappointed they haven't addressed this flaw.

This thing is incredible! It has a delicate quality to it
5/5

This thing is incredible! It's a delicate situation, so proceed with caution. The first one I purchased broke after falling from my nightstand to the hardwood floor (after only ONE use!). I was insane, to be sure. However, I was so impressed with this tool that I purchased a second one. It'll be well worth your time and effort. I also purchased one for my sister. It's the best at filing and smoothing those crusty dogs. But be careful not to go overboard. You do not want to injure yourself by filing too much! Also, there's no need to worry about replacing the screens. Go to Walmart and purchase a drywall sander. When you get there, you'll be able to tell which one it is. br>br>Here's how I put it to use: br>Use at night (over a garbage can) and on dry feet. Wash your feet and pat dry before applying a cream containing 40% urea cream and Vicks vaporub. Socks should be worn over the top. Once a week, use the callus reducer. Every night, apply urea cream or Vicks. Later, you'll be grateful to me. br>br>Thank you very much.

This is a fantastic program! This tool for removing calluses is amazing
5/5

The best part is that you can replace the screens if they become damaged. We simply purchased a pack of drywall sanding screens from Lowe's and cut them to size; they work perfectly! It is something I strongly suggest.

Dry heels and soles are a breeze with this product
5/5

After seeing a YouTube video about this product, I decided to give it a try. br>It's a good thing I did! br>Because I walk around barefoot in my house and only wear sandals during the summer, my calluses have developed and my heels have developed deep cracks. br>I've had pedicures done with chemical peels, razorbr>devices, and sanding sponges, and they all work to varying degrees, though a few timesbr>too much callous has been removed, and my heels sting for the better part of a week afterward. br>This product works well for removing dead skin and should be used on dry feet. My feet are softer now, and the cracks are less visible. br>To keep my feet soft, I apply cream to them and wear socks. br>The main benefit of buying the tool is that you can keep it in good working order between pedicures or save money by doing them yourself. br>My husband immediately recognized the sanding squares as drywall screen when I opened the package for the first time, so I would not recommend spending an extra $10 on the refill package, as I did. You could probably save money by purchasing a sheet of drywall screenbr>at a hardware store and cutting it into small squares instead of buying precutbr>refills.

It's simple to use and understand
5/5

I like this product so much that when I lost my first one, I had to go out and find one that was identical and buy it. br>It's simple to use, takes little time, doesn't require batteries, and can be taken on trips. br>I'm getting the special paper from Home Depot so I don't have to pay too much for it on Amazon.

Okay, I've been on a quest to find the ideal callous reducer for my cracked, bleeding heels
5/5

I can't help but chuckle - In the last six months, I've purchased far too many of these items. The final word, however, is mine. Although I enjoy using the electric rolling callus removers, the replacement rolls are excessively expensive and must be replaced frequently. If you have a lot of callouses, like I did, the big callous grater will help. However, once you've rasped them down and kept up with your pedi care, you won't need the grater. (Once you have calluses, you must keep them under control or they will return and you will have to start over - (sigh) This reducer is the best of the bunch in my opinion. The screens last a long time, are very effective, and replacements are inexpensive, so order an extra packet of replacement screens right away. Then keep it near the tub to buff calluses quickly before and after a bath or shower. My heels are in the best condition they've ever been in. This is something I've purchased for my daughter as well. Fortunately, she learned from my mistakes and no longer has a drawer full of these items.

Wow
5/5

one of the best so far! I've made it my life's mission to find the best heel smoothing device or product, and this one is by far the best! I have the ped egg, which removes larger chunks of skin and requires the use of a file to smooth out your heels, so it's a two-step process. a procedure in which I have the Emoji machine, which requires a new roller every time to see any difference (at $19 for two rollers, it gets pricey) and takes 10 times longer. No, this file has been downloaded 20 times more than this one. br>br>Because I live on a tropical island, I am always barefoot, and if I don't take care of my heels, they become cracked, dry, and unsightly! 'Island feet' are the last thing any girl wants! Lolbr>br>I'm so impressed with this file that I'm going to order refills as soon as I finish writing this review! I'm not sure how long each screen will last, but doing both of my feet took me less than 10 minutes. With this, you can wear your heels and toes. You should only use this on dry feet, and with each tap of the file against your sink or towel, you can see how much dry skin is coming off. My feet were left silky baby smooth, and I didn't need to file them with any other product other than a rinse. a small amount of lotion That's incredible!.
