Questions & Answers
Probably not unless you're careful, as it could peel other skin if it comes into contact with it. But, as long as you don't get it on your other toes, I don't see why not. This stuff is incredible! It works extremely quickly.
It wasn't even close to being painful. The skin simply peels away. It burns a little if applied to healthy skin.
It's just a standard grater, after all.
No, not usually, but it does not appear to be a bad idea. It could aid the absorption of this product. It's the most effective I've encountered.

This is my first review on Amazon, and I've been a customer for a long time. This item is incredible. My daughter's feet were in such bad shape that they appeared to be rotting. I followed the directions for using this product and it worked perfectly. Perfection in every way. Simply follow the directions and you will achieve fantastic results. The evidence can be found in the photos!.
This is a fantastic combination. The gel is undoubtedly the key, but you should also soak your feet in very warm water with a good foot soak product before using it. I used lavender bath salts and soaked for a longer period of time than recommended. You'll be amazed and, frankly, embarrassed at how much dead skin slugs off when you use the rasp before applying the gel, exactly as the directions say. Just take care! If you let the rasp do its job, it will remove the skin to the bone. It's crucial to be respectful. The rasp is effective, but it should be treated with respect. br>After that, rub the gel ONLY ON THE ROUGH PARTS; more isn't better in this case. Pay attention to the instructions. Respectfully, Rasp once more. Enjoy after a thorough wash. If you don't buy this combo pack, you'll only be disappointed. If you don't respect the rasp, you're going to have a hard time.
I was so taken aback by how easily dead skin could be removed that I accidentally cut myself on a section of my foot that wasn't callused! This isn't the product's fault; the bottle explicitly states that it should only be used on calluses. The second time I used it, I applied the gel first, then removed the calluses with a pumice stone. Of course, it didn't remove as much dead skin as the file did, but I didn't get any painful cuts, and my feet were much softer as a result!.
My feet's bottoms are the part of my body about which I'm most aware. My husband teases me about not cutting him in the middle of the night with my dry feet, so I get regular pedicures with callus remover to try to minimize how dry and flaky they look, especially in the summer. Please note that I read and followed all of the instructions to the letter, especially after reading everyone else's reviews. I couldn't believe how good this work was, so I only turned it on for the three minutes recommended. I've attached a photo of all the dry skin I removed from one foot. And then I went back to take some more off. However, I was wary of scraping my skin too much. This is the genuine article. If you have calluses or dry feet, I strongly advise you to try this product!!.
I used to walk barefoot a lot and developed extremely thick calluses on my feet as a result. Other products, such as those containing urea and those containing salicylic acid, haven't worked for me. I bought the callous remover, rasp, and gloves as part of the kit. I followed the instructions, soaking my feet first, then applying the callous removal and rasping. This was very effective at removing all of the hardened skin on my feet with minimal effort; however, because I was new to this product, I erred on the side of caution and only left it on for four minutes. 5 minute. I didn't require much because the product is a gel. Because of how little is required, the bottle should last a long time. Use gloves because the active ingredient is potassium hydroxide, which is caustic and has a similar chemical structure to lye.
I really like this product because it's simple to use, doesn't make a mess, and it works well. The photo was taken after one use (before and after). I was able to easily remove a large amount of dead skin. I applied the product with a silicone basting brush and wrapped my foot in a towel before filing it with an Angel foot file (expensive but well worth it!).
The gel as well as the rasp are fantastic! With the arrival of winter, I began to notice some severe cracks on my heels, but after just a few applications, my feet look and feel almost brand new. br>At first, I was hesitant to try it because some of the other reviews made it sound extremely dangerous, but all you have to do is apply it with gloves (only one pair is included, so you'll need to buy more) and wash with soap and water - I didn't get any skin burns or cuts from the rasp, and I only left it on for 3 minutes, which was plenty. br>Just follow the instructions and don't use the gel on anything that isn't natural. If you have calloused skin, don't use the rasp too hard, and stop using it before the pressure becomes unbearable. br>The rasp also works well on its own, just to keep my heals smooth in between applications of the gel.
Just be careful because I tried it and scraped way too much. Make sure you scrape slowly and measure how much skin you're removing several times. If you don't, you'll end up with a bloody foot like I did. I'd also suggest starting with 5 minutes; I was surprised at how easily my calluses came off, but ouch for first-time user error.
