Having tried every possible remedy, let me tell you I haven't succeeded. The foot file, foot razors (don't do this), pumice, callus removers, foot soaks, every lotion and potion imaginable, foot and ankle specialists (no help there), and special silicone socks are the most common items on the market. Countless things could be added to that list. In an effort to hide the fact that my heels are disgusting, I only buy sandals and shoes that cover them. My foot problem came up as I used the Dremel tool to help me do some heavy cleaning. It occurred to me that something like this could be beneficial for it if it was not It eventually deserted me as most thoughts do, but one day I was browsing Amazon for foot care, and I saw what appeared to be a Dremel - initially thinking that it was the wrong page. I tried to compare it to mine after I was curious, so when I saw this, I realized this was In what sense? Not at all! Is that true? You guessed it. . . a Dremel for the foot. Anyway, I guess you already know I review these things on Amazon a lot, and this product had so many excellent reviews that I decided to try it. It has become a true blessing that this small tool has become a lifesaver for me. After reading the instructions, I realized there is an appropriate way to maintain good foot hygiene, and I wanted nothing less. We immediately began taking foot baths with apple cider vinegar, sometimes Epsom salts, or Hydrogen Peroxide, whatever will contribute to softening My foot dremel then went off and I was shocked! As soon as I learned how to use it without causing further damage, it was as if a miracle had happened. So good proactive foot hygiene, wearing a foot dremel (my words), doing foot soaks, and anything else that will help soften the calluses before they form deep painful fissures and remaining dedicated in the process should be your plans of action. It is not uncommon for an item to receive good reviews, but when the number of reviews is consistently high with fewer negative reviews, it is a good indicator that the item is at least worth trying. Unfortunately, I cannot rate this with more than one star because I don't know what happened to the previous versions of this. I bought one a few years ago, and my husband loved it, he was amazed at just how good it was, and how soft it left his skin. Then, suddenly, it broke from the top, so I ordered another, but this time I found it to be difficult to use since there was no option for speed control. There is no way to deal with this one at even The brand I want to buy isn't available and we are searching for another brand.
