This isn't made out of real moles, assuming you're serious.
It's all about you. It's placed where a blister or sore spot on your foot might occur. Unlike Dr. Scholl's, this moleskin is thin and won't interfere with your shoe's fit.
The thickness is comparable to that of a well-known brand. Ideal for wearing in a shoe under a sock.
The product is excellent at preventing blisters; I use it on my heels to keep them free of blisters. It should also work on your toes; just be careful when applying it.

I bought a roll of this moleskin for hockey a few months ago, and it was fantastic. So, a few weeks ago, I placed another order for two rolls. These newer rolls are vastly different from the ones I ordered previously. You can see and feel the difference in the fabric when you hold the two orders side by side. Worse, the new rolls have a very weak adhesive, which defeats the purpose of moleskin entirely. I won't be ordering this product again based on my recent experience. Unfortunately, I had expected this to be a once-in-a-while purchase. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> This most recent examination of the product is a disaster. This product peels off at the first sign of moisture. It actually encourages blisters rather than preventing them. The pad comes loose, bunches up inside your socks, and causes a lot of rubbing because the adhesive doesn't work.
I work for an airline, so I'm used to walking miles in heels and standing for long periods of time. Every day, I work for 14 hours. I was looking for something that would provide some protection, so I tried this based on the reviews. br>The roll is nice and big, the fabric is soft, but the adhesive is terrible! When it comes into contact with moisture or friction, it falls off. After a day of use, the majority of the adhesive remains on your application area, which must be removed with alcohol. If you're looking for a one-stop shop for skin protection, the Leukotape is the way to go. br>br>I really wanted to like this product, but I think you should work on improving your adhesive because it would be so much better for the end user.
Second Opinion: From a five-star rating to a one-star rating - What a pity this product has been altered! In its current state, I wouldn't recommend it. I cut the same size, applied it to my skin in the same manner, wore the same socks and shoes, and the results were vastly different. The moleskin was not properly adhered, and it bunched up under my sock, aggravating the problem. Not only that, but my foot was covered in a sticky mess. Why would you want to change it, oh why would you want to change it? br>br>First Reaction: Returning for a Second Roll - This moleskin has done an outstanding job of protecting the sensitive areas of my feet. I enjoy having the freedom to cut whatever length and shape I want. It adheres well and gives the impression that it isn't even there. It was easily removed in a gentle manner. I'm back after a year and a half to order a second roll of this product because my first one is just about to run out. I'd suggest it.
Yes, it's simple to take off because it almost falls off seconds after you put it on. I'll need to use a small amount of surgical tape to keep it in place while I use it. I wasn't expecting anything like this. Prior to this, I had always purchased Dr. Scholl's mole skin, which once applied, virtually stays in place for days. Alternatively, you can leave it on until you remove it, which is a simple process. So, in conclusion, I cannot recommend purchasing this product; it may have been a good buy at one time, but the seller or manufacturer has chosen to cut corners along the way in order to keep the price low, but the product has become unworthy of the price; if it does not stay on your skin, it is useless.
You get a lot of bang for your buck with this purchase. I took it on a four-day backpacking trip around Catalina Island with a group of 18 people. Being one of only two people who brought this item, it was a trip highlight for the majority of people who developed blisters within the first hour of hiking. The item performed admirably. During physical activity, the Moleskin did not move or peel off.
Martens work boots were recently purchased by me. I'm used to seeing things in the middle of the day. I prefer to wear my boots under my jeans rather than over them, so these were a little higher. Higher socks are worn, but the boots pull them down, exposing my skin to a seam near the top of the boot. They began to irritate the middle of my shins, which became red and uncomfortable after a few days. br>br>so my wife mentioned this stuff that her mother used to put on her uncomfortable shoes when she was a kid! So it was worthwhile to give it a shot. This stuff is a CHAMP! br>br> Even better, it appears that the more I wear the boots, the better the adhesive mends the boot, plus it is super soft! br>Amazing discovery! Definitely a good investment.
For the price, you get a lot! First and foremost, the price per unit is a fantastic deal! br>br>When compared to a pack of three sheets I purchased from a drugstore, this pack not only offers a lot more for the money, but it also adheres much better. It almost sticks too well, as it takes some pulling to remove it after hiking, and a lot of adhesive was left on my feet (if it were just slightly less sticky but still cling well and not fall off with sweat, this would be perfect [if there was a 4 1/2 star rating, I would have given it that]). br>br>This moleskin kept my feet dry and protected a bandaged blister from a previous hike (which I didn't have these for). br>br>My only minor quibble (mentioned above) was that it was a little too sticky; however, the pack I got from the drugstore wasn't sticky enough and easily rubbed off, so more sticky is better than less!.
You require mole skin and go to your local CVS Pharmacy or Walmart, where you spend less than $10 for three strips that you use in one day. For nearly the same price, you can get a BOATLOAD of this item. Is this the best mole skin on the market? It isn't the case. But, first and foremost, why do you need mole skin? Simply apply it to the skin that requires protection and go easy on it. What does it matter what other reviewers have to say about comfort? There's no comfort in this process because your skin is already dangling. If you're going to buy mole skin, you might as well get the most for your money.
