It is unlikely to be breathable because it has an adhesive back.br> However, the content is excellent. Unless you have allergies to any of the materials involved, I don't see why you should be concerned about long-term use.
4 yds. is the length of my roll. I wouldn't recommend it because it's long and 9" wide. It was supposed to make callouses on my feet disappear. It usually falls off in a day or two. I was in Wegmans that morning, having just put a patch on my foot, when I felt something sliding on my foot. When I looked down, I noticed that the patch had come loose from my sandal. I used to have a can of Red Cross moleskin, which was fantastic. I'd be able to wear the patch for a week straight if I wanted to - even in the midst of nighttime showers It's a pity that the Red Cross no longer produces it.

Although the adhesive is strong, it is not suitable for use on the skin. tearing. I'm wearing it for about 5-hours a day to protect my forehead under an Arctic Cold Cap during chemotherapy. Continuously for 6 hours. I discovered that you can (gently) cur out a few tabs from the backing with a paring knife, allowing you to stick it on at the edges without yanking the hair out. This product is perfect for my extremely sensitive skin, and I will continue to use it throughout the treatment.
I've used Dr. Scholl's, which is good but pricey, and I've tried Amazon's "value" brands, but the adhesive stuck to my skin when I removed the moleskin. The residue clung to my clothes for days. The Curad brand goes on smoothly, stays put until you take it off, and removes cleanly. Plus, for a great price, you get enough to last for months or years; what a deal!.
With my cleats, I use mole skin to cover my hot spots. When I play sports, I need something to keep my feet from blistering. This stuff is fantastic for the price. It's a little thinner than other brands I've tried, but it has excellent adhesion. While I'm playing, I make up for it by using other tape and such to keep it on. It does the job of padding, but it's more of a value buy because you get a lot of it, but it's not the best I've tried.
The amount of moleskin you get for the price is very cost effective, but the adhesive's weakness detracts for me; it can usually last through one shower, but I'm used to a longer life; however, perhaps I'm the exception, and everyone else changes their moleskin daily. When I've used a smaller piece, the action of pulling my sock on over it has tended to roll it up. br>So it's a bit of a mixed bag, with a lower cost per square inch and a weaker adhesive than the pre-existing adhesive. cut pads.
br>br>4 yards of 9-inch wide moleskin for modest foot issues. An inch of moleskin is a lot of moleskin! She adds one to the equation. We've been doing two weeks' worth of patches at a time, and we're down to the last half of the roll. This should last her for at least two years. 3 years. br>br>The adhesion is excellent, and the removal is simple. This moleskin is thick enough to protect your shoes while remaining thin enough to allow them to fit properly.
There is an error in the product description. For starters, it's latex-free and has a poor adhesion. This is a good deal for average moleskin, but it won't hold up to long-term use or moisture like the latex version. I bought it because it was advertised as having Latex Adhesive (the fact that it's latex-free is only mentioned in small print).
The molesting's adhesive isn't up to par. It will come loose as a result of skin moisture and light friction. It comes off even when wearing Cramer Tuffskin. On 5-mile hikes, I used it a few times with creams and petroleum jelly buffers, and the loose moleskin caused worse blisters than the shoe leather. It's the glue that's causing the issue. Dr. Sholl's is much more expensive, but it is more effective.
My 86-year-old mother's sensitive skin was well-protected. Her caregivers did a better job of adhering and removing it than I did, and there were no complaints or'soft' spots on mother. After covering it with CURAD Adhesive Moleskin, the pressure point that led to my purchase of this product on the advice of a home nurse healed nicely.
