Questions & Answers

What about fine hair? Does this product work well? There's a comb I have that looks like this, but it glides over the nits in my daughter's hair with ease. ?

It is unfortunate that the quality of this brand has declined and that the grooves inside the tines, which were once effective, are now only decorative scratches. I've ordered hundreds of these combs over the last several years, both for myself and via another provider. Comb fine hair through by using a version of baking soda and conditioner that is divided three thirds baking soda and three thirds conditioner. It is baking soda that will catch the insects that the comb used to pick up. You have to be careful, this is a challenging task.

How about the Lice Meister? Has anyone tried it? Could you please tell me the difference between them if that is the case? Is it difficult to decide which outbreak #3 item to purchase?

One of the things that sets Lice Meister apart is that it is promoted by a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization In the non-exempt category This website appears to exist only to sell Lice Meister combs (and to promote "no-nit" policies that medical experts, such as the American Association of Pediatrics and the National Association of School Nurses, say should not be used, but promote the use of its products). I encourage you to research the group for yourself rather than rely on my word alone. My personal experience has never seen such a thing before Non-profit organization whose website did not provide an opportunity for donations or volunteers, but which sold something instead. As good as this comb is, one can't imagine what one could do to make it even better. Many of the same selling points as the Lice Meister are also applicable to this comb, such as the smooth handle design, cost-effectiveness, reusability, chemical-free feature, and earth-friendly material. A friendly, warm atmosphere,

If this comb kills lice, then it is effective, right? In the event that it doesn't, what would be the best way to get rid of the lice ?

I am pleased with the results of Lice Freee. You need to let the moisturizing solution dry completely after you have saturated ALL your hair, your neck and the All bedding should be washed in over 140 degree water (turn off the cold water and let it soak for at least a few minutes). Turn it back on once it's been turned off. If your washer is as weak as my washer is, do the rinse cycle. As Lice Freee does not kill by chemical means, it dehydrates the bugs nothing can live when it is being sucked dry. So most lice AND mite infestations will be kept under control using Lice Freee. The comb should be used to remove any dead nits and any missed areas.

If your child gets another case of head lice a year from now, can you use this comb again or do you have to throw it away after when is has been used once?

Put it to good use instead of throwing Additionally, you have the option to use this resource as much as you need. As often as once or twice a week, I check my daughter's head when she attends school. In the event that you have head lice and you use the comb, soak it in rubbing alcohol as soon as you have treated the infestation. My child had lice, so even as I was combing her hair, I would put the comb in a cup of alcohol and put the lice in it. Start combing her hair again after making sure it is all combed out!

Stunning comb, but do not be fooled by cheap knock-offs There's no power
5/5

The Marshall Islands is where I found this comb, and I discovered that it works well. There is no need for nasty chemicals. Putting a shower cap on my child and watching a movie after soaking their hair in oil (coconut, olive oil, etc) would be the way I would treat their hair. My next step is to wash their hair thoroughly (it still will be greasy, but it makes using the comb much You can remove the nits from the hair by gently and carefully running the comb through it. I used to run the comb through their hair a few times per week for 2 weeks. I did a fund raiser to purchase one hundred combs to donate to the islanders because I loved this comb so much. A knock off I received to reorder for my son being on a 2 year mission (see pictures) is absolutely horrific. There are bent teeth on the knock off that would not be effective I called Amazon to explain I was sent the wrong item and they refunded me. Since returning this item online was not possible, I returned the item by phone. My second attempt to order the product was successful and I was sent the right product this time.

Buy this product at your peril! The purchase of this item is CHEAP - The real product is OFF, not the off-brand! This product is horrible! I will never purchase it again! There is a difference between this product and the one advertised
3/5

My wife bought the genuine "Nit Free Terminator" lice comb from Amazon two years ago and I thought that this would be the same product. The price is clearly CHEAP, but there's no guarantee that it's legit A version that has been turned off. Genuine versions arrive in packages made of hard plastic sealed in a tight seal An air-tight plastic bag containing this version was included with the package. It is genuine when one side of the comb is embossed with "Nit Free" In this version, the function is not available. Microspheres are found in the authentic product The teeth should be lined up perfectly, with no space between them (to ensure that every strand of hair is combed from root to tip to pick up every This version of the game has misaligned teeth, starting at the top Although lice and nits are removed by combing, they remain in the hair because of gaps between the teeth. Further complicating the situation, I have just attempted to return the product but I was told I would not be able to return it. Do not try to save $10 by buying this cheap comb! Make sure you purchase the official comb instead!.

More information on the application for lice problems can be found in the review! During that time I found 15 nits and 5 to 6 hatchlings on my six-year-old's head, so it was a necessity
5/5

While I was able to remove them by using just my hands and the plastic purple comb that comes with the treatment shampoo, I wanted to have a comb that would last even though it would be more difficult to use. My cousin, 10 years old, was covered in lice, and I wanted to be able to help her get rid of it. I ended up doing 1 day shipping for her, and she is much happier now. The page that I recommend is called on the topic of lice. She has the most amazing advice and has made me feel hope for dealing with lice, that it can actually be done and that you need not waste time cleaning everything the person has come in contact with. In addition, she explains that the only things you will need are a fine tooth comb and some conditioner to deal with lice. The advice she gave came in handy when I tried it on my cousin, who has the thickest locks I have seen in my life. Although my daughter has thin, blonde hair, it was easy for me to find the bugs on her. However, my cousin has dark brown/ black hair that is so thick and dense that it was impossible to brush it all the way through with a hair brush. It became clear how bad she had them when I found one adult louse in her hair after she was dry, the day after I realized just how bad it was. I could see a few nits on her, but not the hatchlings. My wife was still plagued with bugs that night when I used the purple conditioner that came with the Rexall treatment. I stuffed the top layer of her hair just to start the process and allow her to feel some relief, but the purple conditioner was not as effective in grabbing on to them. However, I ended up filling up three paper towels with hatchlings and nits during the first go around. you only have a purple comb or any fine tooth comb at hand, be sure to take whatever you can out of it and make sure to comb through it thoroughly. The day I put the Terminator comb in, I had her take a shower so her hair would be wet, and I pinned up the top part of her hair not even half up and half down since she has thick hair. She had completely saturated her hair in conditioner, so I ran out and had to rely on spray detangler on the top, which worked just fine, but I wish I had a bottle of conditioner on hand. As soon as I had her covered, I started using the Terminator lice comb and immediately I noticed how effectively it caught the nits and her eggs that I had not even seen. The list she left behind was so long that I spent 2 hours going through them and I still know I haven't captured them all. that you should remove what you can and do it everyday until you don't see any bugs or lice, brush the comb through for 100 strokes, but if you find a bug, you should start over at one. You should then do a wet check every two strokes after they have been cleared after 100 strokes There are three days for two weeks. However, if you find any lice, the two weeks begin all over again. OK, so after I combed through the bottom layer as best I could, I untied the top layer. Before this, I hadn't seen any large lice, but I did pull out two of them as well as a couple smaller ones on the first comb through. I saw a lot of medium to adult lice out of the top of her hair. After combing it through and finding nothing that warranted me messing with it for much longer, I made my way down to the bottom to confirm there weren't any other big lice hiding in the Every time I went over the hair with a comb, I wiped it on a paper towel and checked that there were no insects or nits stuck in the teeth that would return to You simply use conditioner and comb through it to remove the bugs. As you comb, it slides out of the hair onto the comb, which really helps the bugs to stay in one place as you work She will be checked again in one week, which will be Saturday the 23rd. I was going to do so tomorrow, but she has a sore head Her hair needed to be washed in the shower after I was done so that I could wash out the conditioner and remove any loose hair that I had used the plastic comb to loosen. She had a lot of nits already in her hair, so I lifted up part of her hair and checked several places where I knew there would be nits, but I didn't find While I am aware that I didn't get every little nit or lice, my main goal is to reduce their numbers and break As well as me, she was very happy. There is no doubt that this comb is worth its price. A total of eight treatments were performed. I paid 00 dollars for each of them and they didn't do anything. Visit that ladies blog and read what she's written. By doing your research on these things, you will feel much more confident and better able to get them done The only thing you have to do is to be a little nitpicky A picky eater! I know that this product works and helped me deliver the good news to my little cousin by taking care of her inconvenience. As you can see, there were a few hairs pulled out, but my little cousin is extremely gentle headed and handled the whole 2 hours very well.

It comes in a resealed and used package
3/5

The same used package is said to have been received by many other reviewers. There is a seal around the product that appears to have been resealed and resent. As returnable items are not available for this item, I'm going to disinfect it with alcohol and hot water and see how it goes. In any case, it's disgusting especially if there are lice involved. Amazon should not allow this practice.
