Questions & Answers

Is there a way to make this work with an asthma spacer?

Hello, Kristi, and thank you for your inquiry. br>br>An asthma spacer will fit in the Sammie Medicine Case (ORANGE). The spacer's size, on the other hand, may limit the amount of room available in the case for other medications. I hope this has been of assistance. br>br>With best wishes, Annie, PracMedic Bags- Make a distinction

Can this product keep my insulin at this temperature for an extended period of time?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to contact me. Please keep in mind that while this Medicine Case is insulate, it is not a cold storage pack. If you want to keep your insulin pens cool, you'll need to use the medicine case in conjunction with Ice Pack(s). Only one Ice Pack can be stored in the Sammie Medicine Case's pocket. The ideal Ice Pack size is 7 inches long by 3 inches wide. (W) 15" As a result, an Ice Pack that fits within that dimension can be used. It's possible that you'll need a second Ice Pack to keep your Insulin Pens cool. Before zipping the case shut, you can place the 2nd Ice Pack on top of the Pens. Unfortunately, because the internal temperature of the Medicine Case when used with Ice Pack(s) is a subjective matter, PracMedic Bags is unable to provide you with this information. I hope this has provided you with the information you were looking for. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you very much. Annie, Customer Satisfaction Manager, sends her best wishes.

Is this going to work with my auvi-pack?

Thank you for getting in touch with me. YES! In the medicine case, there are a couple of mesh pockets that will hold your Auvi- Q is at ease with himself. Annie, best wishes

Is it possible to store two inhalers as well as a peak flow meter in this case? This is something I'd like to use as an asthma bag. ?

For the inhalers, I believe it would be fine, but the meter is a different story. (I'm not familiar with flow meters.) I keep an EpiPen, a vial of steroid solution needles, and alcohol pads in my bag, which has plenty of room.

This is an excellent Epi bag
5/5

The quality of this bag is excellent, and the padded sides ensure that the contents are well protected. I like that this one looks 'official,' for lack of a better word, because my 10-year-old self carries her meds but would require adult assistance if she needed to use epi inside; the only thing I'd change if I could is to remove the stitching that creates the epi-like effect. Pockets the size of a pen Auvi- is a product that we use in our own home. Q's, so I've been using this pocket for benedryl chewables instead, but it would be more convenient if the stitching was removed. So far, I've used the front side pockets to hold an Auvi- The back large pocket holds a second Auvi-Q and Trainer cartridge, while the front small pocket holds a Q and Trainer cartridge. The Q cartridge includes small vials for emergency medications (Zantac, Zyrtec, and prednisone), as well as Benedryl chewables in the long thin pockets. Everything does, however, fit and feel secure, so 5 stars!.

All medications are compatible with this device
5/5

In the last ten years, I've purchased a number of cases, but none of them have held all of my son's allergy medications. We had to carry two cases at all times in order to fit everything we needed. When your child is young and in elementary school, it is not a big deal. No one was allowed to carry a backpack when my son started middle school. As a result, he had to bind two kid-designed cases. He had been leaving those cases in his locker because he was too embarrassed to carry them to class, I discovered. They took up a lot of space, and kids teased him for carrying a "kid pencil bag," so I knew I had to find something he could carry comfortably while also holding all of the medications he needed. This bag is ideal for our requirements. I was able to fit two EpiPens, one Twisthaler, one rescue inhaler, two single antihistamine doses, and one nasal inhaler in my bag. My son was able to include a small snack and a pack of gum in his day's bag. br>I really like this bag. It's well-made. It's insulated, which comes in handy on hot days. There is a lot of room. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the design. I'm going to get a few more of these. My son forgets that he needs to have his med bag with him at all times, so my husband and I each have our own bag and leave one at church. br>This EpiPen case is one I would highly recommend!.

Excellent product! This is something we've been using for the entire summer and it's been great
4/5

My son is allergic to nuts. I took a star off because I believe it should include ice packs (which are difficult to come by in a size that fits the pouch). I got a travel container and put Benadryl in it. The only thing that doesn't fit is the inhaler's bulky aerochamber, but I wanted a small carrier. We're glad we went with the bright orange! My husband has a black one that looks similar to this one, but he loses it frequently.

Amazing color and a lot of open space! It's perfect in every way! It's rare that a product's color is as stunning in person as it is in photographs, but let me tell you, this bag is absolutely stunning! br>br> I recently returned a different brand epipen case because it was too bulky without anything in it and wouldn't even zip once my epipens and inhaler were in it, so I found this one in red, but I fell in love with the blue! I'm so happy I got this one in teal! br>br>This bag is everything that the previous one wasn't
5/5

It's super cute, easy to throw in my purse or diaper bag, or wear as a wristlet, and it even has velcro tabs on the back to attach it to a backpack strap, belt, or waistband. I have one of the largest inhalers I've ever seen, as well as two Amneal 'epipens,' and everything fits with plenty of room to spare! I believe I will be able to fit my glucose monitor, inhaler, and epipens in here, which is a huge plus! The emergency information card, which is kept in a visible pocket on the back, opens up to allow you to write down a lot of information. This is fantastic, but most emergency cards are insufficient if you have more than a couple of allergies or other medical issues. br>br>Also, I had no idea until I got this bag that the Teal color goes well with the Elijah-inspired design. After the family lost their son due to a daycare giving him food he was allergic to with no training to help him, Alavi's Foundation was established to raise awareness and funds to promote the importance of food allergies. PracMedic is a fantastic company that collaborates with other foundations and is committed to giving back, which is a huge plus in my book. br>br>Overall, the color is stunning, the product is sturdy, and there is plenty of space! Thank you for designing a bag that isn't dull to look at and makes me happy. You did an excellent job!.

There's a lot more in there than I expected! This bag is fantastic! I can fit two EPIPENS, an inhaler, a small bottle of benadryl, and even my respirator face mask in this and it's still compact, fits in my purse, and it's all easily accessible! There's also a spot for my prescription list, and if that wasn't enough, there are a variety of ways to carry it or attach it to my belongings
5/5

Also, I contacted them about registering my bag for the warranty, and I received a response almost immediately. All in all, I'm very pleased.

For your or your child's epi pens, this is a must-have item
5/5

We discovered that we would need to carry epi pens for the rest of my son's life when he was a baby, so I looked into a variety of cases before deciding to buy this one. I'm so glad I took the chance! br>br>It's been fantastic to use as we transition from carrying a diaper bag and running errands to only carrying my purse and this epi pen case. br>br>I don't like carrying large purses, so the fact that I can clip this epi pen case to the loop on my purse and then attach it to my strap with the velcro belt loops has been fantastic! It ensures that the epipen case is with me at all times and that it is easily accessible. br>br>When it's in a bag, the bright colors make it easier to find. br>br>I'm extremely grateful to have such options.

Excellent product! This is fantastic
5/5

The bright yellow one was the one I selected. It's just the right size for me to keep my life-saving medications in. and-go. It's ideal for travelers and people who are constantly on the move. Parents; a must-have for school-aged and out-of-school children and so on. It is emblazoned with the first-aid cross. Zipper pulls with emergency alerts are sold separately. It comes with a hand strap and can be attached to a bookbag or backpack. I can't think of a single reason why you shouldn't have one on hand in case of an emergency.
