The paper tape he uses is the only tape that works. Since he takes aspirin on a regular basis, he often requires more than a bandaid to treat all of his scrapes and cuts. He sometimes needs to apply light pressure. While gardening, hand and arm injuries can be treated well with the 2" size. Paper tape comes off without taking more skin than he already has! With 50 years of nursing experience under my belt, I never did anything else but paper tape. In most cases, wound dressings are used too much of the time. The KEE.
In the past, I have purchased this tape and it worked perfectly, so I purchased more. However, this box is not sticky. Due to severe abdominal pain, my husband needs it to keep the pads to his tens unit in place, and he wakes up with pads on top of the tape and the tape rolled up because he needs it for hold down. Quite a mess that is. We ordered the first box and the tape held for a couple of days but that was an odd lot. I hope next time we order a box the tape will hold for a couple of days. As well as not leaving residue on the skin like a lot of other brands, this tape is also very easy to remove.
Depending on the time of day, the stickiness might be right, but it might not stick all the time, and this morning it was so strong it tore my.
