I'd been warned not to get it on my own skin, so I had to figure out how to avoid it. I was given about a half-dozen of these "finger condoms" by the veterinarian to use at home. But I knew I'd need more because she'll need that cream every day of her life, so I was lucky to come across these, not only because they're cheap for the quantity, but also because they fit perfectly and I only use one at a time, making sure to keep my other fingers out of the way. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly.

For hyperthyroidism, my cat uses compounded methimazole cream on the inside of her ear, so I use these twice a day to rub the cream in her ear, and they work great. It was simple to put on, none of them ripped, and I got a lot of bang for my buck.
I put calendula ointment on my cracked fingertips and slip on one of the cots (much cheaper, lasts much longer). Compared to my previous method of calendula ointment and bandaids, this one is more long-lasting and waterproof. ) They're a little tight on my average-sized frame. They are large enough to not slip off, but if left on for more than a few minutes, they can obstruct circulation and leave an indentation. I'm glad I went ahead and bought them.
I tried a few on and they seem to fit well so far, but I haven't put them to work yet to see how they hold up.
The package arrived in an unlabeled ziplock bag that had been taped shut.
These are reasonable in price. You have a lot of them, after all. However, several have broken while attached to my finger, which is inconvenient. This method of soaking off does not appeal to me at all.
