But I recently lacerated my arm working on a project in my shop, so I have firsthand experience with it. My skin was protected by the Israeli Bandage while I drove to the ER. It stopped the bleeding immediately and was able to protect the wound. emergency room doctor was very impressed with how well the machine.
I'm not working. Package includes a double bag enclosed in a ziplock bag around the inner heavy-duty bag Sealing vacuum bags that are heavy duty.
In general, they will continue to work and do the jobs for IFAK, B O B kits, etc. This is not the case for tourniquets. Generally, I would not buy a sterile IBD combat dressing based only on cost, but I might buy the cheapest one available. I started making kits for my own Backup systems, redundant supplies, and redundant equipment are always a good idea. It's funny that they all seem to be the same product, copies, or similar in appearance.
I don't know how I can stand this piece of garbage. Having bought two so I could practice, I discovered the compression yoke pokes through the elastic wrap material upon first use. After I finished wrapping, the end retaining clip bent and I was unable to use it. If it was wrapped in any way, it wouldn't be able to exert any compression, and as a back-up tourniquet it would fail miserably.
We did not realize, however, that we would need them shortly after they were purchased. Having these on hand proved to be so useful. They were easy to use, effective, and great to hold up to. I am so happy that we have them and I plan to buy.
It has a sticker with "made in China" on it. The bandages are not genuine Israeli bandages. There is no vacuum sealing on the outside of the pack. In that sense, it is still a functional bandage, but I don't want to place my life or anyone else's at risk.
Packaging that falsely represents the contents. Despite the listing indicating that it was a 2 pack, the label indicated a 2 pack and a single pack in the same package. The item I received was a single pack, so I arranged a return for a refund since it was a single pack. I haven't opened the package yet and I intend to use it in the event of an emergency, but did not yet use it. Having one of these in a medical kit seems like a wise decision.
The 4" I had purchased had been replaced with the 6" That's a fair price and it's a cheap insurance plan, should you need it. By the way, the 4" would work great for an arm or a Any product made in China is something I avoid, as I consider the risks to be too high.
