That's what I believe. It was recommended by my doctor for a yeast infection under my breast, and it worked well within a few days.
What is the benefit of talc? It keeps the area dry and prevents further irritation from rubbing the skin; hopefully, this answers your question.
Because it's a powder, it's not flammable.
You must examine the unit's bottom. I'm guessing it's somewhere between two and four. From the date of manufacture, the product is guaranteed for three years.

For years, I've been purchasing. This isn't the Desenex that the bottle claims to be. I've been using this powder for years and knew right away that it had been altered or was a different powder altogether. I'm not sure how this will fit into a Desenex bottle. I prefer the genuine Desenex brand, so I'll return this powder and buy it from a local retailer instead.
I am not a dermatologist or a skin care expert. What I use this powder for and why I use it are outlined below. br>br>This was recommended to me by my doctor 25 years ago to treat a red rash under my belly button, breasts, and the crevices between my groin and upper thighs. Problems with chubby people, to be sure. In the summer, I use this after a shower or bath on a daily basis. In the winter, I'm less interested in using the powder, and I'll occasionally get a rash from sweating under blankets or clothing designed to keep you warm. There are issues in the northern hemisphere. Once I experience the all too familiar discomfort of "the rash" I apply the powder and it's gone or 75% better after 6- It's crucial to wash the affected areas with warm water for at least 8 hours. soap (I use ivory, dial, or baby soap). Rinse thoroughly with warm water and thoroughly dry. A hair dryer comes in handy for making sure crevices are nice and dry. After that, dust yourself with powder and go to bed without wearing any underwear. I believe that sleeping bare-bottomed is beneficial to everyone, regardless of whether or not they are prone to rashes. It's time to let things breathe for a while. Lol.
I'm 74 years old and haven't had this issue since high school football. However, it is clear that this is a "any-and-everything" situation. age, non- a problem of discrimination Well, 56 years ago, Desenex was my "go to" treatment, and when this "skin-care" treatment became available, I was thrilled. I was surprised that the product was still on the market, so I bought a container, and it worked just as well as "lo all those years ago. " " Still crazy after all these years," Paul Simon may have said at one point, "well, not crazy, but effective," and if you, too, want to treat the unmentionable, give it a try. (You can also use it to describe athlete's foot. ).
Updated on December 4, 2021 I ordered it from two other sellers, and it turns out that they aren't fake; Desenex simply decided to reduce the quality to Gold Bond levels. They now resemble Gold Bond in appearance. I'm going to look for a new Desenex after years of using this one. If you sell Gold Bonds, I'd rather buy Gold Bonds at a much lower price. Original review: br>br> I've been ordering desenex powder for years, and this is as fine as sawdust in comparison to the others I've received. I'm returning it because it's terrible; it's obviously a cheap copy. The packaging is also unique (as seen in the image).
The lack of a seal on the bottle, as well as the fact that the 3 oz bottle was only about 60% full, made me nervous at first. So I went to two local grocery stores and found the product, as well as the same amount of powder and no seal on them. This appears to be the standard procedure. So I'm feeling better, and it smells exactly like the other bottle I bought at the store. It costs about $2 less. In the end, there aren't any issues. The product did not arrive as I had anticipated, but it was in line with what I had seen in other stores.
Is it better than before? 50% accuracy in advertising equates to a failure in advertising. Didn't anyone notice the "New Coke" debacle a few years ago? Cornstarch, fragrance, and talc were the inactive ingredients in this product for many years. Period. The list now reads like something out of a bad horror film. Improved is the polar opposite of it. The product no longer has the same feel or functionality as the original, and it also has a foul odor. And, despite the fact that inflation is a fact of life, the cost of this joke has skyrocketed. Here's something to think about. Surprise, surprise, there's a product called Zeasorb that has a nearly identical formula and costs about half as much. Crown Laboratories, Inc. is the same company that makes it. Johnson City, Tennessee is a city located in the state of Tennessee. Tried it. Everything else is the same. The disappointment is the same.
I've been using desenex for a long time and have always been pleased with the results. The jury is still out on whether or not this formula is as effective as the previous one. However, the smell has become unbearable, as has the texture. Companies are removing talc from their products because they are afraid of lawsuits, I understand. However, the old formula's three inactive ingredients have been replaced with a number of new ones that I haven't had time to research. When something has been working well for me, I don't like to see it change. I'm going to give it a fair shot and will update my review later. Put another way, my first instinct is that I should look for something else because I'm not sure I can handle the smell or texture of this one. br>br>Also, if you scroll down in the product description, the old ingredients are still listed, so that needs to be updated to reflect what's in the powder now. br>br>I'm guessing that part of the reason the formula has changed is because Desenex was acquired by Crown Laboratories a few years ago.
I'm not sure why most foot powders are so expensive for the amount of product you get. Desenex provides you with a large bottle of powder that contains the same ingredients as the more expensive versions. I am extremely sensitive to scents, and while I wish the scent they added was significantly less, it is tolerable. The majority of people aren't going to give it a second thought. This powder is required if you do not wear socks. This powder is essential for anyone who wears boots. This is a good product at a reasonable price.
