On my Lhasa, I've been using this eye wash every day for the past two years. He gets excited when he sees me pick up the bottle because he knows it will moisturize and refresh his eyes. After I've poured the liquid, I lay him down on his back and gently stroke his eyes. It is something he adores. When he stands up and shakes, he is rewarded with a treat.
I'm not sure, but it thoroughly cleanses the eye and makes your eyes feel so much better, so I'd say yes, even though I never used it for that purpose; instead, I used it to relieve dryness.
I use it on a daily basis, so an opened container usually lasts me three months. 4 weeks. I use the eye cup after each use because the cap is very tight. There aren't any issues with the wash spoiling. for me.

My eyes were always dry and irritated after I had surgery on both of them (twice) three years ago. The issue is exacerbated by the fact that a significant portion of the population lives in which I didn't have before the operations - The surgeon's inability to properly turn back against the eyeball the upper part of my lower eyelids. Instead, that portion of the lower eyelid is turned slightly outwards, obstructing the natural seal between the eye and the lid, which keeps the eye lubricated and foreign material out. The constant pollen problems that we have in Southwest Florida all year add to the problem. br>br>Previously, I had used the Baush When my eyes became dry or irritated, I used Lomb Sensitive Eyes formula to wash them out. That product appears to be no longer available, but I've found that this new Advanced Eye Relief works just as well. Because of my Viking heritage, which includes blue eyes, light skin, and blond hair, it's been difficult for me to find a useful and effective product. Many competing formulas cause an allergic reaction in me. br>br>So, if you've been having trouble keeping your eyes properly lubricated and comfortable, give this Bausch and Lomb product a try, and if it doesn't work, keep trying until you find one that does. After all, each of us is unique.
This is a great way to refresh your eyes. In the morning, I apply it to both eyes using an eye wash cup. Wow. This aids in the "awakening" of your eyes, as well as the removal of any grit. This is a REFRESHING experience. I can imagine men and women feeling relieved after a bad night or when they are sleep deprived. Because I live in such a dry climate with poor air quality, I only use it in the mornings. So washing my eyes with this product removes that awful "scratchy" and "dry" feeling; it has a slight "salt sting" when you first apply the liquid to your eye, but it cleans your eyes and leaves them feeling so refreshed. Yes, I was taken aback by the difference! This is fantastic. It's not a "red eye" fix (though your eyes will appear brighter), but rather a CLEAN and REFRESH thing. If your eyes are bloodshot, I recommend following up with Bausch and Lomb's LUMIFY drops, which will leave your eyes sparkling for hours.
I had been putting off buying these because they contain preservatives, and I have sensitive eyes and allergies, but I finally ordered them and was pleasantly surprised that they do not cause me any problems. Because I use eye wash on a regular basis due to dry eyes, these are a good buy. If the cap wasn't so difficult to open, I would have given it five stars. This could be fatal if you're in a hurry and your hands are wet, or if you're elderly and have stiff hands. I'm hoping they'll take care of it.
I've used it on my own itchy eyes during pollen seasons, but I originally purchased it for my Westie, who has dry eyes. I put a little in an eye cup and gently drizzle it into her affected eye. It flushes out the goop from her eyes, and then I wipe her eyelid with sterile gauze. She isn't as irritated as she has been with other dog-specific eye products. This product has exceeded my expectations.
I've only used it ONCE with my roommate, and the day after we used it, both of us noticed a reduction in vision, which continues to this day (it's been a few weeks since we used it). So we never touched this produce again, and we didn't even feel like it was a waste of money because I'm not sure what would happen if we did. Strong recommendation: Consult your doctor before using this product, as the consequences could be severe.
Over the years, I've purchased this product locally to treat pollen allergies in my eyes. It was extremely convenient to be able to order food online during this time at home, and the price was very reasonable. There isn't much else to say about it except that it has worked for me over the years and is the reason I haven't switched brands or tried anything else.
I suffer from severe dry eye syndrome, and my eyes can become extremely dry and irritated from time to time. After rinsing with this, I notice a difference within seconds. It's simple to operate and transport.
