Questions & Answers

Carboxymethylcellulose sodium, glycerine, polysorbate 80 are listed among the ingredients on the label. What is the reason for the absence of flax oil from the list?

Unlike in other countries, the US considers flaxseed oil to be an inactive ingredient, so it is included on another label. The US Food and Drug Administration defines some eyedrop ingredients as "active" according to FDA Monograph criteria. The eyedrops contain a wide variety of useful and protective ingredients, but those that are not deemed to be "active" on the carton will be listed separately.

Where can I find flaxseed oil in these eyedrops?

However, it is listed as the fifth inactive ingredient. Carboxymethylcellulous sodium, polysorbate, and glycerin are the active ingredients that lubricate the eyes. She has badly dry eyes, so so far, Retaine MGD has proven to be the best option for her. Although Nano Tears work, they are a one-time use device.

Do they blur vision, can they be used day or night, can they be used to drive?

My vision is blurred for a few minutes It takes about 3) It is usually best to relax with my head tilted back to really benefit from the eye drop since it relieves the burning immediate when applied to my irritated dry eyes.

I have never felt better after using MGD drops
5/5

Having suffered from MGD for over ten years now, I am now experiencing a flare-up. I have a pretty bad case I've been a lifelong Googler If you are wearing", you should wear eye-protection Itching on multiple parts of the body There was a time when the lipiflow patient was My guess is that I have tried almost every eye drop that is designed to ease the pain of MGD. It was only the Optive Advanced (which used to be known by a different name way back when, but I can't quite remember now) that gave me an effective amount of relief. My monthly fix a few weeks ago occurred to me as I picked up this new release. I checked the labels and found that it basically had the same active ingredients as the Optive Advanced, except that it contained flaxseed oil and some lipophilic ingredients. Just thought it wouldn't hurt if I gave it a shot. At least the first application didn't feel too different from the advanced, so I figured that at least that was there for me. As I was out of advanced anyway, I decided to finish up here and then switch back to advanced. A few weeks from now, there will be no way I will switch again. Please take care In order not to put someone's hopes up too high who may suffer from MGD, I won't give them The devastation of disappointing new hopes is I know first hand. I, on the other hand, have enjoyed wearing goggles for many years and am eager to try my next pair I've nearly gotten back to where I was before I had the fix I remember the days of MGD. In AC environments, I can wear my normal glasses, keep eye contact, and even enjoy my favorite pastime with no worries. It was such a change in my life that I cannot recommend these drops more highly. It is of course not true that just because it worked for me, that it will work for everybody. You may not find these insufficient in regards to my tear film, but they resolve that problem for me. If not, it's no harm for you to give them a try and see if they can cure your problem,.

The products only caused minor irritation and redness after two uses, and I didn't find them to be as good as the reviews make them out to be, My eyes were irritated by them every time I used them, and even reddened a little bit each time
3/5

I spoke with my doctor and she told me that, instead of using eye drops like these, she prefers that patients add flaxseed to their diet. My eye issues are not caused by Classic Refresh, which I am to use. I also tried Refresh Optive, which had a similar effect on me. One ingredient in these products, maybe the glycerine?, was adding a lot of gunk to my eyes in the night and it As I clean my eyes every morning, Refresh Classic does the same thing, but much less, and I did not find it irritating to wipe it out.

There are no other brands on the market that compare to these
5/5

Unless you're into black or white, these are miles better than anything else out there. I find that they are comparable to Retaine, though my eyes are not bothered. My vision clears a few seconds faster after taking Retaine, but I sometimes get a headache in the process. Instead of requiring me to use drops all the time, these allow me to do so.

It's an excellent product for the eyes
5/5

The eye drops themselves are great, but it has been difficult for me to locate them in the stores As a result, I turned to Amazon, and my problem was resolved. There are no other drops that are as cool and comfortable as these ones. While I had previously used Systane Gel, the drops made my eyes very blurry and made me tear up very easily. About five minutes were needed to clear them. It was necessary that I did one eye at a time so that I could still see while waiting for the drops on the other eye to evaporate. This Refresh Optive Mega-Upgrade It is great to have 3 drops. If the drops were available in a bottle, I would purchase them. You can buy them individually, for one use only A container. I clip the tip to my memo clip so that I don't waste the solution left in the little container when I apply the solution (probably to allow for the occasions where I miss my eyeball when applying). That way I don't waste the product on my hands Nevertheless, it is inconvenient to do so. For the purpose of using this wonderful eye drop, however, I'm prepared to go through the inconvenience.

The price is high but the quality is This is my first experience with these drops, and I'm liking them so far
5/5

As a result of Sjögren's syndrome, I have joint pain. As a result of the burn in my eyes, I stopped using drops with preservatives. Among the reasons why some people do not like these drops is that they can't be re-applied Make sure the vial is plugged in and the vial is used all Providing you store the vial in a cool, dry place inside the fridge, you can continue to use it until all of it is gone. The only thing is that they are expensive. There is a way for you to re-do things Using them in your pockets will cause them to leak. So plug them up, but don't put them in your pockets. Use the vial up within one day by storing it in a safe place.

After opening a bottle of flaxseed oil, the oil starts to go rancid pretty fast
3/5

There isn't much excitement here for me. When I use these for dry eye syndrome, my eyes feel stickier soon after treatment than they do when I use The following advice is for those who are complaining about having to purchase After opening a bottle of flaxseed oil, the oil starts to go rancid pretty fast.

What's up with your eyes? Here are some to try! In response to heavy pollen production and wildfire smoke, my dry eyes got so bad that I was forced to use Refresh Tears with preservatives constantly, which led to In addition to using the warm compress/lid scrub wipe twice a day, your ophthalmologist advised switching to preservative-free drops
5/5

After using the compresses, I used the blue box of Refresh Optive to rinse my eyes to help clear them out. I had the awful feeling I had of burning, itching, swelling, and something leaking behind my eyelids When I saw the new Refresh Optive MEGA-size eye drop, I contemplated spending a small fortune trying different single use eye drops a month Although they didn't do much the first time, how could these be any different from what I usually see? My eyes had no trouble if I followed my eye routine once a day for about a week, but it took about a week for the effects to be noticeable. They bring immediate relief, but it took about a week for my blepharitis symptoms to actually be eased. Whether they will help you if you have blepharitis is worth a solid try, and seeing if you see any difference after finishing the entire box. Additionally, here is a brief recap of each vial without any preservatives Throw away neither the twist off top nor the twist off bottom. To continue using up the remaining drops, twist off the cap onto each end until they're in place securely. Put the bottle in the fridge to use up the remaining drops.
