In preparation for my doctor's appointment, I tested my fasting glucose level with the Freestyle Precision Neo at home. During my appointment with my physician, my fasting blood sample was taken at the hospital (St Alphonsus) for glucose and all the rest. I took a Freestyle blood sample at home prior to the appointment, which What is the sample taken by the hospital/doctor? It is 103. We are disappointed in the waste of a product that costs so much and should last so long. A better way for suppliers to track expiration dates, and thus prevent this problem, may be for manufacturers to print the expiration date on the outside of the package rather than solely on the individual test strip wrappers.

Getting the strips out of the wrap is a pain because of the style they used. The foil fits so tightly, I am afraid I will damage it or drop it while fiddling with it. I know I have to do this, but why make it slightly more difficult?.
