As this product has a light base scent, I would not add essential oils to it. Despite its slight smell, this is a great product.
While the Biotone is neither hot nor cold, it is a mild analgesic that relieves tension and soreness in muscles and tissues almost immediately. I think it would make a terrific massage cream because it does not leave a greasy residue.

For sure, this is an excellent massage cream. This product keeps the skin nicely moist without being oily or heavy, and it doesn't wick away too quickly, leaving those annoying boogers on the skin like regular lotions. Plus, it doesn't need a lot of moisturizer in order to keep the skin soft. I like having the Arnica and Glucosamine in it as well, as it gives me enough grip to do deep tissue, but just enough slide so that I am not straining my fingers if I am stretching my fingers as well as keeping it slick to prevent Indian Rug Burn.
