Despite its design differences from HappyLight, I was skeptical of purchasing this lamb. It was a relatively new brand and was unestablished in the therapy light market. Since I have been using the lamp for 4 weeks, my roommate and I have noticed I am considerably less mean or grumpy, which I was trying not to be prior to using The design is just as important as the benefits and features, as it does not look ugly and square like every other therapy light on Amazon. You get an A+ for this! I have edited the article so that it is clearer. In my last review, I forgot to say that I love the fact that I can easily put my arm through the lamp and grab something on the table, rather than moving it around a normal lamp. So it's as if the lamp doesn't take up any space, it's just doing what it needs to do. If you need to travel with it, it is easy to disassemble, not too heavy and not made of cheap quality materials.

My regular depression and seasonal depression combine in January to make a very depressing time for me (it's not fun), and for years now my therapist and doctor have recommended adding a light therapy lamp to my routine. I love this little lamp - it's really helpful. As the other reviewers have said, it is a plug-in, which is nice. I am still teaching virtually as well, so it makes it a great ring light while on Zoom with my students and helps make those dark winter days appear brighter. It is definitely worth checking out!.

It solves my problem. I purchased this to update the look of my home office. However, the location of the desk in my office is such that my back is facing the windows, making the video appear too dark when I receive It is a good light for video calls because it is not too bright for my eyes, and it is bright enough to solve my darkness problem. I had trouble switching it on after I figured out how to do it. I quickly realized that the ring part of the base needed to be pressed on one side (the side 90 degrees counterclockwise from the AC adapter) until it clicked into place after testing the USB. Once it was turned on, I was able to use it. I have been able to charge my phone quite well so far. No matter how icy my fingers are, they respond easily to touch controls.
