The color array of lights on the main body can be turned off, but the "on" lights remain illuminated even when the color display is turned off. It has a red light for continuous mist and a green light for intermittent mist, and it is quite bright in a dark room (imagine it on your bedside table). It's more than just a small illuminated dot; it's a bright dot with a matching color glow at the bottom. When trying to sleep, there is a lot of light near your bed. (Wrapping a dark ribbon around the base at night has helped so far, but it isn't a perfect solution.) Aside from that, this diffuser is fantastic.
Plastic is broken down by pure essential oils on a regular basis. (They must be made of metal or glass.) I used to use essential oils to make skin care products. Heavy metal cans or glass were used to deliver them to us. They would bend and warp if left in concentrated form in plastic containers. (Unintentionally, one of our employees demonstrated this fact for us.) ) I'm not sure how technical it is, but I do know that - Don't put essential oils in plastic, no matter how fragrant they are!
Yes. I don't use essential oils because some of them are harmful to pets.
I've discovered that using distilled water keeps it cleaner and allows it to run more efficiently.

12th UPDATE 18 UPDATED ON THE 6TH OF AUGUST, 2019. It's been a year since I got it. I need something for my room. It was enjoyable to read. It was always in need of water. It would be preferable if it was a larger one. Throughout the winter, I relied on it. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b I put a few drops of fragrance oil and some water in it. I walked out of my room. I checked on it again 30 minutes later. DISASTER! The bottom of the pool was completely dry. My lovely, expensive side table was completely ruined. The wood had a wavy appearance to it. br>However, I went out and bought another. It was a valuable lesson. Place it on something cheap or put a towel under it! br>NOTICE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN REVISED. So much trouble, in fact, that the day after ordering it, I gave up and bought the similarly priced alternative.
We use it on a continuous basis almost every night and clean it once a week. The motor is extremely loud and does not diffuse properly. The new one continues to perform admirably. Their customer service department has performed exceptionally well. Because the new one came with warranty information, I'll be able to contact them directly if this one fails. This information was missing from the first one I received.
Because I have rheumatoid arthritis, it's difficult for me to get to it to remove the cover. Do not, under any circumstances, remove the cover while running (as I did). The images depict the various colors that it switches between every few seconds (I believe I missed pink). I apologize for the inconvenience. Because I'm not a fan of the changing colors, I prefer to leave it off. The scent that this diffuser emits is quite pleasant. It emits a fine mist, allowing the scent of whatever you're using to permeate the air. I live in an apartment building where other people smoke in the common areas. It gives me migraines, so I'm unable to handle it. For me, this is effective at masking the odor. When I use this, I only use filtered or bottled water. I'm aware that all minerals have the potential to clog up the components. It also only holds 100ml (a marker on the side indicates when to stop). This allows it to run for about 6 hours before shutting down. I'd like to keep mine running 24 hours a day, seven days a week (yes, they also smoke at night). br>br>*Please press the "helpful" button below if this review was helpful to you. As you can see. This diffuser was purchased as a gift for my mother-in-law. law. It's something she's only used a few times. We filled it up to the brim the day before yesterday, and the water leaked out through the fan at the bottom. The fan had stopped working (possibly because it had become wet). We tried filling it up again with water, but it still leaks from the bottom. I'm extremely disappointed. Water is dripping from the fan at the bottom of the unit, as seen in the photo.
So my roommate is allergic to every air freshener on the market, but I needed to get rid of the "odor" in my apartment. That is when I received this. br>br> It is a divine gift. This diffuser is incredible. br>br> Color/water output is easily controlled, the unit is small and compact, easy to clean, and it looks great. It's ideal for my small space. Finally, I'll be able to hide the completely-invisible blemish on my face. not- The previous tenant was kind enough to leave me with a pot smell. It's also ideal for creating a romantic atmosphere when your significant other visits. Regarding complaints about it not working, I strongly advise you to contact the company before leaving a negative review. To me, they appear to be fairly responsive. br>br>Just to let you know - If you have a dog, avoid diffusing tea tree oil or do so in a location where the dog will not be disturbed. It is detrimental to their nervous system. I believe it is the same with cats, but I am not certain.
