After a wet cleaning cloth with two cups of water is used, I wipe down the inside of the water container and then dry it. No cleaning instructions were provided on the box, or if they were at all. I have not experienced any problems since moving here. Whenever I use lavender essential oil, I love the smell. Every time I think about it, I clean

I need to know whether there is a fire hazard. What a privilege it was for me to buy this item for my asthmatic child. The combination of this product and water could very well cause your house to burn It's so sad. Watch the video before you decide to buy
UPDATE A replacement was sent by Amazon, but it performed in the same way. So, it wasn't just one item that was defective I think the entire line is defective. DO NOT PURCHASE if you don't want your house to catch fire.
You don't want to waste your money, unless you absolutely must blow some fsa money before the year is out. You wouldn't function if you were confined to the size of a walk-in closet for it to affect you in the least. Spills everywhere, controls are sensitive and you would need to be locked in someone's room for it to have any effect Despite this, its LED does light up. The only reason I tried it is because it is the only humidifier my HSA approves. As to why this one has been approved, I have no idea, but I plan on calling and asking.
After I bought it, it worked for a very short time before it stopped working (go figure). My "return window" has now closed on the exact date that the thing stopped working. From the box, it wasn't easy to turn it on, as there are no actual buttons and only "touch" buttons to adjust the settings, which was annoying at first but I was able to adjust to it afterwards. I can set the timer for the item, but now the item turns on or stays on for a shorter amount of time than I wanted. In order to get it to work, I have to continually unplug it and plug it back in. This is the only one I chose because it was covered by my FSA card and I needed the funds on it. Even if the product is not specifically eligible for FSA financing, be sure to choose another one.
If you like I'm not a fan of the design, but it fails to do its job as Take a look at the video.
While I can fit my nasal spray into my luggage, it has a large impact on how well my nose does not dry out when I go away to places where it is extremely cold. Despite its good intentions, the program has serious shortcomings As the vapor rises, it eventually creates a little bubble of water over the outlet, which seals it in. Depending on how quickly it forms, it could take up to two hours. Condensed water simply drips back down instead of dripping off the walls while dripping back up on the walls - I was totally unaware that this happens when you are asleep. We're experimenting with cutting some notches in the outlet to make it more difficult for the bubble to form so far, that is helping, but this is something the design engineers should have noticed with even a little.
I didn't want to splurge on my first diffuser, and honestly I can't imagine the value of a higher priced product. It's visually appealing, and I've been able to smell amazing oils since I've been using it. A persistent cough has been eased, and my skin feels smoother, and the scent is stronger at the beginning. It helped my sleep by easing a persistent cough, and my skin feels and looks smoother in general. Despite the long duration of the water (at least 15 hours), the scent is quickly drained off after the first couple of hours. There are other brands out there, but I do not know how they compare on that point you can add more oil if it bothers you. As a whole, I'm pleased with this product and plan to use it for a very long time, or to update this review if it breaks down!.
There's one drawback to this device, a water bubble forms at the top and prevents escape of the steam. It always seems like I have a question mark sticking out of my head The hole can be popped by slipping a finger down As for how I cleaned it. . . yes, I did. Filtered water is the only water I use. No matter whether you use essential oils or not, it happens. I don't understand it. The good news is there are a lot of things to be encouraged by. The oil diffuser not only moistens, but also enhances the humidifying effect. When the water tank is full, the machine runs for a very long time. I like the faux wood grain. It looks like it's been a long time. Despite the fact that I don't use the light, I think it's Too late to return it, or at least I can't return it. Most of it works, so I'm giving it.
The flexible medical spending account in which this was funded allowed me to buy it. I was pleased with it the first day, but then it started leaking. I went back and read some of the reviews and was disappointed, but I didn't want to give up. I had just spent more than $60 on the last one. My discovery was that after great care was taken to line up and replace the inner cover and then the outer cover, no leaks occurred. I have no problems with it. I spent $60+ on this well, but it is over twice as deep, so I can put a lot of water in there and it is much longer lasting. The top is great, make sure you line up the inner shell properly when filling up the inner and outer shells, and then place the top carefully in position.
