A wonderful smell emanates from the room. It's great to give as a gift but I bought it for myself. In my living room, I light these in the hope that they will repel mosquitoes. The candles are not scented in the typical way that most mosquito candles are, but they do have a pleasant scent. Smoke does not fill the room, but there is a strong scent that fills it. As soon as I put on the lid of the candle, no smoke was visible. I only noticed it when I blew out the candle. I found it to work well and smell nice as well.

Candles like these make great gifts. There are good scents (not too strong or too weak), they look good too (in the set as well as individually), and they burn well too (no popping, smoking, or discoloring). The purchase has been a very good investment for me. The only thing I would like would be to have a bigger burner, since I burn mine for about an hour a In spite of that, even after using it that much, it lasted over a month, so its lifespan is good. The lavender one is just a tad small and I was so sad when it ran out, but I would still like it in a larger size.

In search of the perfect anniversary gift, I thought long and hard. I found out that wood was the item I needed for the year I needed as I looked up what the years were to get. Unlike other tin sets, this one looks like it has a wood/leafy grain to it. I am sending them to a couple who enjoys all the flowers, lavender, rosemary, French vanilla, The candles are able to burn up to 30 hours, allowing them to enjoy them for days on end. In addition, due to the fact that the box it comes in is decorative, I don't have to wrap it.

This candle is lovely and I gifted it to my two friends who are new mothers after reading the Amazon description. As a result, I must contact them and tell them that they have to dispose of them, since they are a fire hazard. The first candle I used tonight was placed on a $300 decorative cutting block that I had in the kitchen and I let it burn for two hours. I looked over and saw a 4-inch flame shooting up after a couple hours. Here are the pictures I found once the candle was extinguished. There was smoke coming from the entire candle, which is a really serious fire hazard. My cutting board will be taken to a woodworker to be salvaged, but I'm glad my house didn't catch on fire. I am very pleased with my purchase! Delivery was super prompt, they are very well packaged, and they look beautiful. I do not know about the smell because they will be a gift. The size is good, I expected them to be larger but they are just right. There are 18 x 18 cm dimensions to the box.

The candles can also be given individually if you wish. Because of the nice looking candle tins, you can split the set up and give them individually. These scents are wonderful and have a nice throw, as well as melting properties. Those candles are so pretty!.

Quite the little gift product. Looks and smells higher quality than its price indicates. Smells great, and the metal boxes make for a nice decor piece. The colors and patterns are fun and creative. The stocking stuffers and gift bags are great. I would buy them again for gifts. An ideal 10.
