Questions & Answers

What makes the red Surefire 123As different from the brown ones? Although they appear to be the same, the brown is less expensive. ?

Surefire red, Surefire brown, streamlight, and Panasonic are all made in the same Panasonic factory in the United States, and they're made of the same materials, with a few minor differences. For example at 10 ma very low load, 500 ma low load, and 2 amp maximum load, a streamlight will run marginally longer (4%) than surefire at 2010 ma low load, and 2% At 1 amp mid/high load, Surefire will run 3% longer. This is a minor issue. Surefire browns are virtually identical to reds, but they're probably risky on Amazon because they're being sold by third-party sellers who could be selling knockoffs, quality control failure dumps, or old stock. Get streamlight or surefire "sold by" and shipped by Amazon, or "sold by" streamlight or surefire that are made in a Panasonic factory in the United States, or alternatively US made panasonic.

Is it possible to recharge the 123A batteries?

There are rechargeable 123a batteries out there, which may not be as obvious as some of the comments suggest. Simply type 123a rechargeable into the search box on this website.

What exactly does 1400mAh stand for?

The battery's ability to store energy is what this is all about. The higher the number, the longer it can run a given load; the higher the number, the better.

Only four of the twelve batteries had a voltage of three volts or less
3/5

The rest were unusable due to their low quality. When my batteries arrived, this is what I discovered. Four of the twelve batteries had a voltage of 3 volts or slightly higher. Several of them numbered in the thousands. Others were in the range of 2 to 4V. 3V and 2. 7V. One battery was found to have a charge of 0 volts. 8V. As a result, eight of the twelve batteries in this box were unable to be used. Those who were under the age of two. In my Arlo camera, 7V lasted a day. I purchased these batteries after reading positive reviews, but my experience appears to be similar to that of those who gave them a one-star rating.

Is this a bad batch of tomatoes? I installed two Arlo cameras and one motion sensor with these
3/5

In just two weeks, half of the batteries had died. It should have lasted at least six months! Is this a bad batch of tomatoes?.

Surefire batteries are still the best, but I'd prefer to buy them directly from them
3/5

I've previously purchased Surefire batteries, and they've all performed admirably. It's critical that these batteries work right out of the box if you're using them to power your battle lights. br>br>On my second purchase, I had (04) batteries dead right out of the box a few weeks ago. I still have (06) new batteries to test, but I haven't done so yet. If you must buy from Amazon, test the batteries when you receive your package. br>br>I still believe surefire batteries are the best, but I would buy directly from surefire next time. br>br>Amazon gave me a full refund for my order, and I will commend them for their excellent customer service. br>br>If you must buy from Amazon, test the batteries when you receive your package. At the very least, if your units are dead on arrival, Amazon will refund your money.

Batteries that are completely depleted
3/5

I needed these for my security camera, so I ordered them. When the time came- FOUR WEEKS- After receiving them, I used them to replace the camera's dead batteries. DEAD BATTERIES are what I'm talking about here. Yep. Every single person had died. On the tester, there is no indication of a charge. I contacted the manufacturer, who directed me to Amazon, who then directed me in circles before finally telling me that I was "past the return date. " " Seriously, long-lasting batteries that are still in the box and haven't been used will only last a month? BEWARE OF THE BUYERS! These will not be accepted or replaced if they die in the box. And what about the previous box, which still had six batteries in it? That's right, all six of them are no longer alive. I'm stuck with 18 batteries that I bought, paid for, and are now dead. A dissatisfied customer.

Four- Review of the Year
5/5

In December of 2014, I bought a 12-pack of Surefire 3V batteries for the first time. I've placed three more orders, the most recent of which was in March of this year. Either the batteries are excellent or I am extremely fortunate. I purchased batteries from four different vendors, and each one was fully charged and lasted for a long time. In my last order, I received 12 batteries, all of which showed a number of three. A Beckman Tech 310 meter was used to measure the voltage at 4 volts DC. br>br>Last year, I left Surefire after Netgear strongly advised me to use Panasonic batteries in my new Arlobr>security cameras. I had a bad time. The Panasonic batteries I received were mostly discharged, and they only lasted a few days in my cameras. So I went back to Surefire, where I know they'll last a long time in either my Streamlight PolyTac flashlights or my Arlo cameras based on previous experience. br>br>Now, Netgear is warning consumers about fake and substandard products. batteries of high quality I've also read online warnings, but I'm not sure how a consumer can tell if something is fake based on its appearance. Another reviewer might be able to share a personal story. SureFire, LLC, according to Wikipedia, is a well-established company based in Fountain Valley, California, that produces products for the United States military. Armed forces and law enforcement agencies are two examples. The batteries I recently purchased arrived in their trademark red and black box, complete with a paper seal on top. The box's printing reads "Made in USA, Fountain Valley, CA. " , as well as a UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Recognized Component. My most recent set of batteries has an expiration code of 06- 2028 br>br>I called this an ongoing review because if I have any issues with Surefire, I'll write another review. br>br>Thank you for reading.

I'm on my last battery, and I've had the pack for less than a year
3/5

I hardly ever use this flashlight. I have other flashlights that I use on a more regular basis. I was very dissatisfied with the battery's lifespan. The Surefires, I thought, would be more durable. The battery lasts about 20 minutes when fully charged. I gave a friend a spare surefire battery, and his flashlight also died halfway through the match. During a two-hour night match, I went through two batteries, which I had to replace when I got home. I also had a head-mounted light and a gun-light-laser combo. Only for walking stages did I use the handheld flashlight. My other tried-and-true products have proven to be extremely effective. Perhaps it was a bad batch for Mebbe. The expiration dates are a long way off.

Amazon is a good place to start
5/5

After reading the other reviews, I decided to cancel my other order with a different company. Instead, I went straight to Amazon and placed my order. The batteries were only three months old and came in a box that was exactly as described. That means I still have nine years' worth of shelf life left. If you are worried about something. It's worth it to buy directly from Amazon, even if it means paying sales tax or an extra couple of dollars.

Batteries are great, but their packaging is terrible, and it's changing all the time
4/5

For the past two years, I have been using these batteries in my Arlo cameras. They last about 5 to 6 months for me (due to WiFi signal strength, motion detector sensitivity, and recording length). br>br>However, the boxes in which they are packed are flimsy and frequently break during shipping, spilling the contents. I also believe that the cartons will break in the warehouse, spilling the contents (which would explain why the batteries are packaged in bags or are not facing the same way in the boxes). When batteries come into contact with metal, we all know how quickly they drain. Boxes breaking, contents spilling, and warehouse conditions could all be to blame for some batteries not arriving fully charged. I'm not sure, but I'm just trying to think of realistic options. br>br>A blister pack for the 12 pack batteries is now available on the manufacturer's website (guess they got enough complaints). br>br>I give the batteries 5 stars and will purchase them again and again until the current supply of batteries is sold or recalled. br>br>I give the batteries 5 stars and will purchase them again and again until the current supply of batteries is sold or recalled. br>br>I give the batteries 5 stars and will purchase them again and again until the current supply of batteries is sold or recalled. br>I award one star for box construction. This resulted in a four-star rating. br>.
