This is the best diaper ointment and it is great for all skin types. As an aquaphor substitute, I use it like that. Like the smell of a baby, except that it is much more pleasant. In the winter, this clear ointment keeps the cheeks warm and not so dry. It's perfect for frequent diaper changes and to protect against the cold as well. Since I was a baby, my mother suggested using this diaper when I was a newborn, and I am pretty sure we will continue to use it until she is potty trained.
