This is the second time I've bought them over the Christmas season It contains 48 batteries, type 'C'. Our house has one flickering candle in each window that is battery operated, and there are two batteries required for each candle. The windows in the bay window are lit extensively all year round with five candles. In fact, this is a very good deal, considering they are expensive, but after comparing with the Walmart prices and local hardware stores, this is the only way to get 48 pairs. There was no damage to them. For almost three months, I have been working from dusk to dawn every day. I would highly recommend them.
The batteries I was given were not recommended. As I read all the other reviews, I thought that for all the batteries that were offered, it was a great value. I have tried some of them and some only lasted 3 DAYS, some lasted 5 DAYS and the worst of all, when I put some in they worked for a day then the lights dimmed, then flashed It ended up costing me quite a bit of money due to my great deal.
