An effective way to protect against odors
4/5

received this because of a bad smell coming from our Dekor diaper pail. It is much better than the Dekor at protecting against odors. In addition to that, the following pros outweigh the negatives Please note - The protection from odors is excellent. - It's nice that the lid snaps shut. Looks sturdy, however, the cons are as follows Please note - In order to use the pail, you must push the diapers into it. A small cavity opens up in the slot partly due to the twist mechanism and partly due to the narrow slot itself. The diaper gets dirty, so you get your hands dirty when you push it Please note - A narrow bag occupies most of the space. In other words, we seem to be changing bags more frequently than Since we've only had it for a month or so, it's hard for me to speak on This seems to be a sturdy piece. Even with the few cons, I'd choose this over the Dekor if I had to pick. The only thing that would have made it 5 stars was if the lid locked and the opening was slightly wider.

This review takes a comprehensive look at how a container can hold you - Knowledge of - That is
3/5

A quick update - all is well. I think you have a good plan in place. It no longer gets five stars, but I downgraded it The first thing is that it is such a hassle to lift the lid manually. Instead of one with a step to open function, get one with one. Additionally, our kid can't seem to grow out of size 5 diapers - he has been using them since he was just Parents in their first year of parenting will only be able to find diapers In any case, size 5 diapers will not succumb to this pain in silence. In addition, you don't want to fight wiping off It is a fight with only losers, no winners. In the end, we gave it Doggie poop bags are the only way to dispose of it You will be afflicted with this condition as a result of becoming a parent. I can't believe how much time I spent trying to determine what diaper pail to buy in the first place. I spent so much time researching that I still didn't find the information I needed to make an informed decision before I purchased the product, which is why I am writing this review. I am pleased to welcome you to my soapbox, future parents. There were only two criteria I considered This measure is based on how large and how easy it is to use / how well it works. A NOTE!
When I say the thing is working well, I mean like the actual physical mechanics of it. Based on my research, it seems as though *none* of the pails actually do effectively keep the bad odor in. Instead, it's actually the deodorizing puck and the quality of the bags that make a huge Since I intend to purchase both brand name pucks and bags, I will also buy brand name pucks. In case you are wondering, I also plan to wrap dirty diapers in a dog poop bag PRIOR to putting them in a diaper pail for disposal. Double-bagged seems to me to be the best option. In addition, we already have the very best doggie poop bags at home for our dog (Mutt Mitts, for those who are interested). It makes no sense not to. The war of attrition that is parenthood is a constant struggle. The good news is that the size of the item fits TLDR-- We have a small room, so we want to maximize the We decided to use it as a changing area because the room has a small nook. In the end, we got a Montessori "activity table" by Wood Designs that has a 30" height because there was no changing table that worked for the size we needed. Because the table top is 1" thick and the legs are 29" high, my primary goal was to have a diaper pail that could fit under the table AND have a height that would allow it to open completely under the table at 29". A diaper pail like this one weighs 29 pounds. The lid is approximately four inches high when it is fully extended, but because it is hand operated / not step operated, it seems to stay in place even when almost full extension has been achieved. After I have tested it and the table is put together, I will report back. In this case, I think I did well. TLDR - TLDR IS TURNING OUT TO BE A GOOD PRODUCT SO FAR - The box in which it arrived had the top of the box The thing was fine in itself, so points go to it for being indestructible when handled rough. I know this is obvious to some people but it wasn't obvious to me, so let me state that it's already in place. In fact, even the ring of the bag is already in New parents may benefit from this, as I assume it is for their benefit. Regardless of whether I bought a new one or a new open box one, I think Amazon accidentally sent me the open box one, which is why I pointed it out. My second problem was that I couldn't get the door open. I thought for some reason that the button on the inside of the top was connected to the twist mechanism. The diaper is put in and the button is pressed. By the way, the twist mechanism thingie turns when you push down on the lid to close - by the way, this was one of the mysteries I failed to solve before this arrived on my doorstep (how do you open the lid?). What time is it that the twisting takes place? What are the factors that affect the birth of babies? How does life in a simulation compare with reality? (i) It is not as tightly twisted as I imagined it would be. Unfortunately, we haven't tested it with dirty diapers yet because baby is still a few weeks away. The button on the interior top of the chair should be backed up. A second time. This release of the door was not apparent to me at the time. When I opened the door for the first time, I pried it open which unsurprisingly was bad for the device. Every time I shut the door, even the slightest jostle would cause it to fly open once more. The frustration set in as I sat down on the rug. Having read more reviews here, I went back to look at more. There were complaints about how weak the latch system was. Since I was so positive in my evaluation of it, I had already taken the time in this step to rip it all apart. There is no return available at the moment. However, I was able to fix it - I think I had jammed the button by forcing it open so eventually I pushed the door pretty hard and it reset. I thought it would be a good lesson to always use the lock button to unlock the door, and if you are worried that the latch is weak, push it back into place to reset the lock As far as I know, everything is going well. I'll keep you posted as soon as the baby arrives. THIS IS THE END OF THE.

I will never recommend this company After 3 plus years, our diaper pail finally broke
3/5

We previously used it for 3 plus years without issue. As a result, I replaced it, but the models have changed over time so it might look a little different. Is that a problem? That's not true! This is absolutely disgusting to me! I am ready to throw it out after a week of using it because the bottom door pops open all the time, and there is no way to keep the smell at bay. It now makes me feel guilty about the number of people I recommended it to in the past three years. We have been on ours for 5 years, because when they don't like it, I tell what a great product we have.

I think this idea is great -- It was poorly executed
3/5

It is an innovative approach, however the ratchet mechanism that encloses the odor inside can only be used to close the bag and cannot be used to unwrap the plastic liner, so the soiled diaper must be forced through It is so small that your hand and forearm end up smelling. Attempts were made to repair the mechanism so that it works both ways, but none succeeded. There is also a problem with the button used to open the internal lid in order to access the soiled diapers to dispose of. You can work around it by prying the internal away from the pail with a screwdriver. There is just nothing to like about the button, and the execution of the design is even The hype surrounding the product and the high ratings are undeserved, in my opinion.

You can't go wrong with this
5/5

Worked like a charm, no frills. Munchkin is the best diaper pail I have ever used in all my diaper bag trials. I have tried 5 different diaper pails over the last 3 years. While I prefer a larger version when my children are younger, I love the compact version as they get closer to potty training. make the smell last for a very long time. It seems the only downside is that they tend to have around a one to one and a half year shelf life before something breaks (usually the gear thing on the lid) or the plastic starts to smell permanently.

The fact that either bag is usable is great! Being able to use either bag is awesome
5/5

If there were a good deal, I would be fine with it, but I'm not a fan of one where you have to tie your shoelaces. In addition to these 2 pails, I have 3 more. There is one munchkin and it is a clip clip. I like it, but I don't like how hard it is to close, and it gets louder and more full when it gets close. Using diaper genie is the other, but you can only use the tie diapers, which are Furthermore, it becomes difficult to drop diapers down into the bag because it gets stuck in the top section. I love this diaper pail because it is quiet to close, easy to close, and the diapers slide right down. I have not found any kind of foot pestle like the diaper genie useful and have not carried it around. As for the tie bags, this diaper pail is also wider than the other ones, so it is more useful and looks very nice! It is almost too beautiful to hold dirty diapers!.

I was disappointed the item did not come with the refils like it was advertised

The lavender smells nice, but I am not happy a item doesn't come with the refils.

I'm amazed at the power of this
5/5

The two versions (two story home) I have are both great to have in the house. I definitely prefer the taller one that has the foot pedal because it allows you to keep a hand on your baby at My routine with the small one is to simply put the dirty diaper on top of the poop pail, finish with the baby, and then place it inside. That way, one hand is always holding the child.
