My opinion is that it isn't true. It takes two batteries to power the two devices.

You would expect Duracell to deliver on its promises. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that I ordered multiple 4 packs, and two of them arrived as 2028, but one arrived These batteries will last way past when a new one would be needed, as I replaced them with ones with dates of 2018 or lower, which still had some power in them (not a lot, but in an emergency they would have worked until after the emergency).
We cannot buy cheaper ones as our husband gets upset, and he is right. As we live in a rural area and cannot just run to a gas station for a replacement battery, it can be frustrating to run out of a specific battery!.
I am pleased with its longevity, and I believe it gives me very good value for money. There is no such thing as "motion detection. " The value I got for my money was still good.
